In the quiet darknessLet me take your heart
Like a theif in the night
I'll rob you of your sorrows
I'll take away the pain
Put your burdens on my shoulders
You only have to say my name
With a smile on your face
Everyday
That sweet surrender
Back and forth
Like a tug of war
With a rope
Fraying at the ends
Flying back when it breaks
The cuts running deep
Everyone is maimed
No one escapes
From your beautiful escapades
The ones I really love
Are so hard to put into words
I prefer writing
Of an idea
A fleeting feeling
Mundane in the brightness
That is couldbe
And some day
