'Death is only a mere fragmentation of the sacrifices needed in order to run a mafia with precision and honour'

That's what Lauren's father always used to tell her after watching his shallow hand finalise a victims fate upon the very grounds she stood wondering in her mission for success.. she stood by those words although took upon them with more force, her mind sharp and stone cold in ways you could never imagine, she didn't do soft.. she didn't do kind.. she did only harsh

"And what is my sweet girl doing today then? Apart from fantasising about men drowning in their own blood.."

"Easy Fallon... my fantasies I tend to imagine being unreachable.. what you just described is something I am more than capable of bringing to reality!"

Lauren huffed back with a small but present smirk, her darkened red lips puckering as she slapped the rim of a Crystal shot glass between, each drop sinking down her throat with ease before the glass slam down within her palm against the heavy set desk beside her, the full curves stood poised while her equal wonder to slide a warning within her fingertips

"I was wondering when you'd start writing me love notes Fallon"

Lauren teased gently receiving a striking eye roll in response

"Now THAT is a fantasy you hold! But less of the bold and more of the eyes! Read it, Sam passed it on to me in the hall"

As directed Lauren's eyes fell into the small note, it was dusky and brown but the writing firm in black, inked out with a single number around 15 digits in length.. it meant nothing at first, not until the girls mind began to express its insanely quick level of intelligence

"Coordinates.. judging by the pattern of binary they're in relation to my Dubai drop.. Now I know nobody in this place would be stupid enough to mock me with a reminder so where did this come from?"

She snapped quickly folding the paper back between her fingertips to shove into the crook of the mousy brown haired woman's chest pocket, her eyes sharp but her tone sharper causing even Fallon to gulp as the answer was yet to be discovered.. it had simply appeared as if out of thin air.. a mystery of just that left nothing but an empty space in her confidence

"I'd love to tell you.. but taking it up with Sam is my only option for you.. I'm just the messenger here Lauren!"

"I thought you were a stronger woman than to accept being the little messenger girl Fallon! I don't level with you to watch your power melt like a shitty tasting snow cone?"

Lauren spat storming with a strong strut to brush shoulders with Fallon's body, this kind of attitude wasn't unfamiliar however.. it was routine! The powerful woman was nothing but a shell filled to the brim with snarky comments.. she had every right to them too as even her equal had no guts to fully fight back.. it wasn't a power battle.. it was and always had been an acceptance of submission with the occasional way point for talk back..

"I'll see to it that he talks don't you worry, I just assume now that my face in your presence dampens the blow of bad news.. correct me if I'm wrong.."

Lauren cocked her dark brow facing away from the woman pausing in her strides with a smirking breath... much to the previous point.. Fallon had ways unknown yet desired by others that tamed Jauregui's tempers momentarily.. maybe it was the gentle attraction Lauren had.. maybe the one slither of her heart that opened up for the need of a fall back.. either way the snap had been swatted

"That would be admitting defeat Fallon, you know that's not how I roll"

Fallon smirked hidden by the woman's turned back knowing to herself that she had softened the abrasive attitude for just a single moment in her favour..
