JJ walks threw the door of the hospital into the waiting room. everyone looks up at her waiting for her to say something. her face filled with sadness, guilt, but most of all anger of what Ian Doyle did.

"no" garcia said on the verge of tears

we all look up at her, hoping it's all a lie. a dream. a story that completely fake

"he never made it off the table"

I sit there thinking, I stand up and walk towards the door of the waiting room to go to vinnies room

"y/n" jj said putting a hand on my chest stopping me

"I didn't get a chance to say goodbye" I say pulling out a small black box and opening it up hugging jj, like if it was vinnie. all the memories pass through my head in a flash

"jj, please" I say on the verge of tears

everyone looks at us with a shocked expression, rossi stands up with the others walking towards me. gracia and emily hug me by my side allowing me to drop the box on the floor, reid picks it up, inspecting it carefully

"this is your moms, isn't it y/n"

"yea" I say breaking down quietly into the arms of the girls

they all hug me, wishing it was all fake, a lie, just like it was for emily.

"we'll get through this, we always do" hotch says allowing a tear slip and quickly wiping it off his left cheek

"hotch shed a tear" morgan said with a chuckle, following a laugh from all of us

continuing the group hug we all let go

"let's go, time for all of us to start a new chapter of life" and we did, we all did

we all walk out, staring a new chapter in life. The patch may never recover, but it's history,
"die with memories, not dreams" is what he always said.
