This is a plot, that I chose from The Winter Wonderland Plot Awards, hosted by none other than dallas1213. All credit of the plot idea goes to her. The cover is made by me. Also, I've mever written in the past tense and especially not from the third POV. A specific writer on Wattpad TheNewJack88 made me more comfortable to write in this style so all credit gows to her! I learnt a lot from her story From Nobody To Somebody: Charlie's Story. Check out her wonderful work!
I chose plot two, but instead of the girl being seventeen, I changed it to sixteen, to make it more dramatic but still in Wattpad's rules and regulations, so everyone is able to give consent.
This book is deemed as mature, it is placed in the 1600s when slavery was legal. Because of this, there will be some mentions of racism and other topics such as sexualizing females and other sensitive issues, as these were all common in this era.
So, if you feel offended please know that this isn't my opinion, but to give realism in the time of where this story is based. If you cannot respect that, please find another book to read.
No characters, places or events are based on real people and no real names have been used. If similarities occur, then it is a pure coincidence.
