It had been hours. Sapnap sat in his car at the end of George's driveway. He had watched Fundy take Dream down the road and felt his heart beat faster as they disappeared around the corner. Now he sat alone, staring at his blank phone. No new messages. Nothing. He sighed and shivered as he searched the dark streets for a sign of movement.
His phone buzzed. Sapnap quickly looked down. It was Fundy.

Thanks for the drive. I don't need you anymore, George is gone and I have Dream. We're coming back now I don't want to see you.

He was confused. Sapnap had helped Fundy do that he wouldn't have to third wheel. They had made a deal. A fresh wave of fear ached inside him. He needed to find George. What had Fundy done?

He rushed to turn on the engine, the key kept slipping as his hands shook. He glanced up to make sure no one was around and finally started the car.

Empty roads, lifeless houses. Sapnap frantically searched for where Fundy had taken George. Surely it couldn't be that far away. They hadn't been gone long. His hands were glued to the wheel and his body shook as his eyes made their way around each house. No sign of George. He turned at the end of George's road and continued driving. His eyes fluttered past a dark alley. Something moved inside it and his gut flipped. Sapnap urgently pushed on the brakes and stopped his car on the side of the road, his heart was in his throat. He jumped out of the car and turned on his phone torch. It was still raining and he could see something in the puddles near the alley. Blood.

"GEORGE!" He screamed and ran into the dark wet alley, unsure and petrified of what he would find.
His torch shone down the alley and at the very end he saw it. George was lying there, motionless. Blood oozing out of his leg and covered his drenched hair. His face looked pale and he lay on the concrete. Sapnap felt a tear in the corner of his eye.

"That bitch" he whispered as he slowly made his way to George. His body shook. Sapnap gently reached a hand out and touched George's chest. There was still a heart beat. He quickly ripped off his shirt and tied it around George's leg, hoping to stop the blood, it made his stomach lurch.

"George wake up! Please!" Sapnap yelled, tears flowing down his face and into his open mouth. The rain washed away the salty taste. He dropped onto his knees, both hands on George's small shaking body.

"George... I can't lose you, I'm so sorry" he whispered, trying to shake George awake, his own body about to collapse, shivering in the cold rain. Even after all their arguments and small pointless fights Sapnap felt desperate not to lose one of his good friends. This was his fault.

It was dark. George didn't know where he was or what he was feeling. He felt almost relaxed. Like a sudden weight had been lifted off his shoulders.
There was a voice. It was distant. George couldn't make out the words. He tried to look down at his body but realised it wasn't there. He was imagining.
The voice became louder. It rung through George like a song, growing louder. He shook. Like an earthquake inside him.
Suddenly and very quickly everything came back to him.
The alley,
Fundy above him,
The gun,
Pain, lots of pain,
And....
And....
Dream, he kissed Fundy. In the moonlight. They were right there. And he couldn't do anything.
Now something was rocking him, yelling at him. It hurt his ears, he felt the world come back to him. The feeling of rough concrete beneath his hands. His wet clothes stuck to his chest. His heart throbbed. George heard it again. The sound of someone. Someone was there. He felt his limbs connect again. He had re gained movement. George forced his eyes open. His vision was blurry but an outline kneeled before him. Their arms outstretched.

"George?" It shouted. George opened his eyes wider, he was still in the alley. With Sapnap. His vision focused.
George tried to sit up. He stretched his arms beneath him. His head hurt and a sudden pain shot through his leg. But he managed to sit up. It made him dizzy.
