Opening your locker your face flushes as you see yet another gift sitting on top of your books. Pushing the gift towards the back of your locker, you grab your AP Chemistry, Calculus, and History books off the shelf shoving them into your bag. Closing your locker, you scream lifting a hand to your heart, "Have you come to a decision about my request?" A masculine voice questions, staring back at you with his heterochromia eyes he wears a slight smirk at having scared you.
Chewing the inside of your cheeks with irritation you tuck a loose strand of your hair behind your ear to prevent your hands from lashing out and choking Akashi for frightening you, "No," you lift your hand up to cut him off.
"I can't, I'm already President of Student government, enrolled in AP classes, and on the honor roll. I can't take that on as well, sorry," you incline your head slightly striding past him towards your AP Chemistry class. Flinching slightly at the sound of his footsteps striding behind you, you mentally groan when you remember that he is in almost all of your classes as well.
"It's not like you're involved in any other after-school programs I've checked and I don't see how this would interfere. I will be willing to help write up a schedule so you can get everything accomplished in a timely matter if that would help you out," Akashi offers striding alongside you towards class.
He grins watching as irritation flits across your face at his tone implying that you can't do that yourself. Good.
Inhaling through your nose, you release a breath not taking the bait. Taking a seat at your desk you set about preparing for the lesson eyebrows ticking when he sits down next to you opening your mouth to reply. "Shōta Higuchi is leaving as the manager and we need one. I can't be both the manager, the captain, and the Coach," Akashi states cutting you off your fingers clench slightly, "Technically you're not the coach Eiji Shirogane is," you flippantly reply opening your AP Chemistry book to the correct chapter you slide it to the side. Hearing silence, you relax your posture glad that he finally left.
"Technically he is, however, I execute most of the plays-"
"Which is the captain's duty, you call out shots to the players on the court and make split decisions when needed. The Coach provides the vision, creates the next steps or plays, and mentors all those under them."
You trail off at the silence, sliding your gaze towards him your eyes widen at the knowing grin on his face. Your lips part slightly at the realization of what he did. Grinding your teeth you decide to ignore him. Pulling out your notes you clench your fits when Akashi steals your binder, "Ahh so you do know something about basketball," he further taunts you by flicking idly through your notes. Hearing the bell ring indicating that class is starting he shuts your binder with a snap sliding it back towards you.
"Just remember, I never lose at anything and I never will. I'm always right and you will be the manager," you bristle at being told what is going to happen.
"Okay, class today we are starting off with Kinetics: The Rate of Reactions Chapter 12. Can anyone tell me about," zoning out you flip through your notebook groaning when you see a note from Akashi with a list of the practices Monday-Sunday, "Persistent prick."

Opening your bento you break your chopsticks apart stabbing the carrot shoving it into your mouth. "Damn [Name]-chan what did that carrot do to you?" Your best friend Fujita Saika questions warily eyeballing you before taking a seat across from you on the rooftop.
Lifting your gaze she makes a knowing "Mhm" sound before cracking open her bento, "Arrogant-san?" She questions lifting some noodles to her mouth. Receiving no response she sighs, "What did he do now? I thought you all got along?" She questions with a mouthful of food idly digging through her bento.
