You kept your arms firmly crossed over yourself, a large blanket covering your body as you laid on a lawn chair, while a majority of your classmates were having fun in their bikinis and swimming trunks, you were hiding underneath a large blanket. Of course, you have a bikini on underneath, though that doesn't mean you are going to show it. Wearing a bikini is like wearing a waterproof bra and underwear.
The quiet and calming atmosphere in your vicinity made you relax and enjoy this sunny day in your own way, that is until someone interrupted your train of thought with one question you have been dying for someone to ask you throughout the years of your life.
"Why are you here all alone?"
You looked up, eyes meeting a pair of sharp red ones boring into your own, they weren't friendly but rather intimidating. You hugged your blanket closer to you, like a larva inside of a silk cocoon.
"I... Um..."
Even though you have wanted someone to ask you such a question for a long time, it never occurred to you that you didn't have an answer. You didn't know why you were alone. You didn't know this boy, he had spiky blonde hair resembling a hedgehog. Though you don't know this boy, you do specifically remember his very confident speech during the sports festival. Ever since you heard his speech, you felt the need to be as confident as he was, to feel strong.
"You're that girl who's quirk stopped working during the festival, right?"
Your cheeks involuntarily heated up, embarrassment evident on your face. Yes, you were that girl. Midway through the festival, the worst thing happened...
Your quirk had suddenly stopped, you weren't sure how but it just vanished. You had been nearly 140 feet in the air when this happened, luckily, another student had taken a quick moment to catch and give you a safe landing. You didn't know who it was because they moved too quickly, but you were grateful. While this may be great news, the bad part was that you had to be removed from the competition, no way was a big hero going to try and make you their apprentice if they witnessed your quirk stop working in such a drastic position.
What is even worse, after that day your quirk continued as if nothing happened. It is like it chose to give up at the worst moment.
"Yes..."
Your voice was soft and quiet, you looked away, not wanting to see his reaction to how much of a loser you were.
"Do you not remember who I am?"
You were shocked at his question, why would you know him? You weren't in Class 1-A nor have you ever encountered him aside from being at the sports festival. You meekly shook your head, confusion on your face. He said nothing, only sat down beside you. The lawn chair was quite large for only you, you just barely took up half of it, so there was plenty of room for the hedgehog boy to fit in beside you.
"How can you not remember me? I was the guy who saved your damn life."
You flinched at his harsh words, the blush on your cheeks became darker. You quickly replayed the memories of when you were saved from falling to your death, though, all you saw was smoke and a quick flash, most likely the person who saved you.
"I'm sorry... I guess you were moving too fast for me to see... Thank you..."
You looked down at your hands, twiddling your thumbs and fingers against one another.
"The name is Katsuki, Bakugō Katsuki. You better thank me, if it wasn't for me you'd be a human puddle. You're welcome..." He trailed off, waiting for you to say your name.
"(F/N), (L/N) (F/N)..."
Bakugō stared at you for a few moments, just observing your features and his eyes slowly trailing down until he reached your legs peeking out from underneath the blanket.
"Why're you covering yourself? It's hot as hell out here."
"I just... Don't like to be nearly nude."
"Well, you aren't nude if you're wearing a bathing suit on... You could've also just worn your clothes."
"I was forced out of my clothes..."
You indicated the other girls that were all enjoying the water and sun of the school's pool, it was great that students of U.A. got access to the GYM and Pool even on weekends. You heard a laugh coming from the boy beside you, why was he still here? It was unusual to have someone so close and around you for so long.
"You know, if you stay shy like this forever you won't be noticed by any major heroes..."
Suddenly, the blanket covering your body was torn away from you, exposing your body being covered by the bikini you had been forced to wear. You squealed and quickly scrunched up in a ball, holding your knees close to your chest.
"Damn, I don't even see what you're worried about..."
Bakugō was nearly drooling as he looked at you, the only words that ran through his mind were "Sexy", "Gorgeous", and "My future wife". (~ YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL QUEEN ~) It was unusual for Bakugō to feel this type of attraction to a girl, especially considering he was always busy trying to out deck Deku and becoming the greatest superhero to exist.
On the other hand, here you were sulking as you shivered with embarrassment, a boy was staring at you in waterproof undergarments!
"D-Don't stare!"
You frantically reached out for the blanket that Bakugō had removed from you, though, Bakugō had other plans on mind. He held the cover out of your reach, a smirk appearing on his face as your body leaned over his to try and grab your target. Your chest and body were firmly pressed against his, you were too busy to realize this.
Bakugō took advantage of this, snaking his free arm around your waist and pulling you closer to him. This caused you to snap out of your current task and turn your head to face him, he had a wide grin and mischievous look on his face.
Your jaw dropped and your cheeks heated up, tears filled up in your eyes from embarrassment and you quickly pulled away, covering your face. A loud laugh filled your ears and you felt something pull you to sit on something quite comfortable. When you opened your eyes, you noticed one of two things. One, you were once again covered in your blanket. And two, you were sitting on hedgehog's lap. Considering how Bakugō looked during the sports festival, you never expected such a playful side of him, especially to someone like you. Strong arms wrapped around your waist, cradling you almost like a child.
"BAKUGŌ HAS A GIRLFRIEND!"
Your expression dropped with embarrassment, you could feel the rage radiating off of Bakugō as he looked up from you and to the voice that was not familiar.
"WHY DON'T YOU SHUT YOUR TINY ASS UP YOU LITTLE SHIT!"
You covered your ears as cusses and loud yells were exchanged back and forth, you wanted it to stop but you knew he wouldn't listen to you by just say "Stop it". You did the only thing you could do, you took a deep breath before quickly leaning forward and pressing your lips hard against Bakugō's.
It sure did shut his loud mouth up.
