"i still don't think this is a good idea"lilia muttered as she clung onto her girlfriend's arm while the group followed john into his 'secret passage' into the basement
"i hear this is where will resides"jaeden then said making kenzie furrow her eyebrows and ask
"who's will?"
"the school ghost or whatever, there are some rumors that a guy died down there or something i don't know. it's just a stupid rumor anyway"lauren replied monotonously
"are you okay? you seem like you're in a bad mood"jaeden then said to the blonde, wrapping an arm around her as he guided her down the steps
"i'm fine. just bored i guess, also i did not want to spend my afternoon in detention"lauren then said, the tone of her voice changing from bored and uninterested to a little nervous and — kinda excited?
you couldn't miss the way her cheeks started to turn red while jaeden simply hummed in reply but he never took his arm off of her.
"no one did but hey this should be fun"he chuckled, rubbing her arm a little, giving her a little squeeze before unwrapping his arm to go mess with louis and wyatt who were obviously scared.
"you okay laur?"brynn teased, walking next to lauren who simply remained silent, but the blush on her cheeks didn't seem to fade making jules, kenzie, and brynn chuckle amongst themselves.
"and we're here!"john exclaimed, extending his arms out as if he were presenting something
"okay this shit is creepy"kenzie mumbled, looking around the dimly lit area that looked as if it were going to collapse any time soon.
"i'll hold your hand if you get nervous"john said, turning to the blonde then winking at her causing her to roll her eyes playfully before exploring the area a little more.
there were ruined decorations on the ground with a bunch of scratches and some old, and knocked over furniture. in the center of it all was a single light bulb, hanging from the ceiling but it looked like it was going to fall any time soon. it kept flickering too, which kind of worried them because they didn't know what to do if it were to explode.
"w-we should go."jules stuttered, getting weirded out by the place even more
"pussies. come on it's nothing! let's just explore!"john said making jules roll her eyes
"okay but can we assign partners? like just incase someone gets lost"emily spoke up making john sigh as he looked back at everyone, and in one breath he said
"me and kenzie, jaeden m and lauren, lilia and jill, emily and louis, brynn and wyatt then jayden b and jules. is that good enough?"
"that's cool"jayden mumbled as she started walking next to jules
"this place is creepy don't you think?"jayden then asked the brunette that walked next to her
"yeah it kinda is."jules hummed. they continued walking around in silence when jayden all of a sudden tripped on a slightly uneven part of the floor, thankfully however, jules caught her arm before she even fell to the ground
"careful, don't wanna trigger a trap now do we?"jules amused making jayden roll her eyes before thanking her.
"hey guys look at this!"louis exclaimed while pointing to the wall he was leaning against.
though from a far it seemed like nothing, the group was still curious as to what louis probably saw, and so they made their way to him.
