Name: Robin O'Dea - meaning 'Bright fame' in Old English. Is a Unisex Name. The Meaning is also similar to Clara's, her younger sisters which means 'Clear' 'Bright' and 'Famous'. 'O'Dea is an Irish Clan surname that derives from the Gallic O' Deaghaidh, which translates loosely as 'The Searcher'.

Background:

Robin is the older, 19yr old sister of Clara O'Dea, the girl who leads the urchins and pickpockets around London. Robin leads a double life in order to protect her sister and hte other children living in the slums, running around at night as a thief, dressed as a boy to throw off suspicion, and working as a maid for the rich during the day. Her more common clients incidentally being Templars, though Robin is not fully aware of the organisation herself. Over the years, she has picked up a few things and noticed the happenings around her clients but smartly chose to keep her mouth shut after recognising that she was cleaning the houses of very dangerous people. As a thief, Robin has caught a lot of unwanted attention which has put her in a dangerous position with the templars, however this is a risk she is willing to take to give her sister a better life as well as the other children. She brings food to the other children and teaches them everything she can from the lessons she has overheard in the houses she cleans from the home-schooled noble children. She does everything she can to make their life better while neglecting her own, devoting everything to Clara. Clara herself cared deeply for her older sister and recognises how reckless she is becoming in order to make her happy and safe, so when the Frye Twins show up, once she has deemed them trustworthy, she askes them to help Robin. At first, the twins are reluctant, not expecting much from her older sister and assuming her to be a weak girl who can't handle herself and while they are searching for Clara's Sister, they come across a thief causing some trouble for a group pf templars. Intrigued, they look into this thief and after mentioning their encounter with Henry Green, he informs them that they were one of the most wanted people in London after stealing some important documents from the higher ups from the templars and overhearing something they weren't supposed to. Turns out, Robin had targeted the templars who had been causing trouble for her sister and the other children in the slums, stealing from them and causing them trouble to direct their attention to her and away from the children. Henry Asks the twins to see if thy can make contact with the thief since their is a good chance that they overheard important information from the templars to have gained such attention from them and this information could greatly help their own plot to take down the templars. Jacob ends up with the task of tracking them down and recruiting them to their side so he ends up stalking her and following her around at night trying to get her to talk to him, chasing her all over London as she tries to get away from him, all while he is completely unaware of both her gender and her identity as Clara's older sister. Robin ends up in a reluctant friendship with Jacob as the nights go by as he persists to follow her around London, occasionally joining in on her heists while trying to start up conversations with her and convince her to join the Rook's. One day, Clara gets dragged away by members of the blighters to work in one of the factories even though she isn't supposed to and the twins head off to save her. When they reach there however, they find that the mysterious thief Jacob has been stalking has beaten them to the punch and had stormed the factory, taking on the blighters themselves. While the Thief fights, Jacob joins in and Evie helps the children. Once the fight is over, Clara and the children rush over to the thief shouting 'Robin' and the thief hugs Clara gently before taking if her hood revealing the beautiful woman underneath.

Suggestion:

Robin works is a maid in the houses of the rich and cleans their houses and other chores. Because the templars had a high status in London, many of them are rich so Robin mainly gets them as clients while she is a maid.

While she is working as a maid, she overhears the lessons taught to the noble children and learns as much as she can so she can teach the urchin children who can't get an education and even steals educational books to learn herself to then teach the children.

While she is a thief, she hides her identity and gender so that the templars and the police have no profile to follow when looking for her, and many would assume her male so it puts her in a safer position. On top of this, she works as a maid to hide in plain sight as well, and this allows her to keep track on their movements on her by eavesdropping on conversations about her.

Robin usually fights with daggers and because of ehr work as a thief and running from the law, she has developed a great skill in parkour. She is physically fit, though underfed as she gives most of her food to her sister and the urchins.

I might have it so that Robin becomes an assassin herself sometime during the story.

Before the twins find out who she is, Jacob ends up being the one to try and recruit her thief persona and chases her around London. He would gather information from the rooks to see if anyone sighted her and the kinds of places she steals from at night and try to reach her during her robberies or after she had already robbed the place. He would reveal himself but then be subsequently ignored as she ran off.

This ends up starts a cat and mouse chase between the Thief and the Assassin as Jacob persists to try and start a conversation and is too stubborn to back down. Robin is also too stubborn to back down and this goes on for days, if not weeks before the incident with Clara.

Every time Jacob returns to the train, Evie would make fun of him and he would joke about he and the thief starting a friendship soon and that he knew he was getting threw to him while in reality, Robin legged it every time she saw him.

Sometimes after their chases and Robin manages to loose Jacob, she would stay around the area out of sight and spy on him to secretly laugh as he sulks after loosing her.

The templars will eventually see her face at one point and be able to identify her as the thief that has been stealing all their shit for the past months so if she stays with Clara, then she risks putting her in danger. From this, she is invited to live in the train by the twins while they all take down the templars.

Robin will eventually join the Rooks and as a way to spend extra time with her, Jacob makes the excuse that he will show her the ropes so the two work together when doing missions for the gang.
