"Do you have a copy of your contract?" Mr Kim asked Mrs Jeon who nodded and pulled an extensive pile of paper out of her bag and handed it to Jin's and Taehyung's family lawyer.
Jungkook was embracing Taehyung that he had nested between his legs. Jungkook was feeling more than a little worried about him. He felt almost brittle, like he would at any moment, shatter, and not be possible to be put together again.
Jungkook was furious.
About everything.
Being filmed.
The film being distributed.
The insulting meeting with the principal.
The concealed threat.
All of it.
Infuriating.
"Good," Mr Kim said, "If you would excuse me for a moment, I need to go over this with a fine-tooth comb, so we can come up with a plan of action."
The lawyer stood up and went into the study to get to work.

Taehyung still hadn't said a word.
His mind was racing.
Running along a corridor with myriads of doors on each side, all hiding a possible outcome from this.
He was opening them all, in hope he would find some way out that wasn't what would be behind the last door he knew would be locked, hindering them from going any further, without going through it.
He knew what they needed to do.
But he didn't want that.
So he kept opening all the doors.

"I'm sorry to say," Mr Kim began, "that right now," he looked at Jungkook, "you don't have a choice. If you want to remain on your scholarship and on the team, you have to do what they want."
"NO!" Jungkook slammed his hand on the table, "I'm NOT breaking up with Taehyung! I'm NOT!"
"But," Mr Kim continued, unpertubed, "I would like to file a lawsuit against the school, claiming unjust punishment and misuse of authority, since none of you have done anything wrong, in the legal sense of the matter."
"Is there another sense?" Namjoon said sarcastically.
"Yes." Mr Kim answered, "Unfortunately. There is the delicate sense of the board of directors regarding what they feel is appropriate behavior in their students and athletes." he shook his head disapprovingly, "And that's where we're going to challenge them."
"I'm guessing they wouldn't have had any problems if it hadn't happened to be two boys?" Mrs Jeon snorted.
"Precisely!" Mr Kim confirmed, "In fact, I know that this exact thing happened to another one of their students not so long ago, only that time, the uploader was the guy in the couple as well as said student..."
"This is so offensive!" Jin spat out.
"Very." Mr Kim agreed, "But I have to warn you, it's not going to be a swift process, it's going to take time and, I'm afraid it could turn out to be a high profile case as well." he looked at the young couple with sympathy, "Are you prepared to be outed to the whole world? When the newspapers gets hold of this..." he shook his head, "A star athlete that is openly gay? They're going to have a field day, I'm sorry to say."
Jungkook looked at Taehyung, getting all the confirmation he he needed from Tae's black, and determined eyes, "Do it." he said, "Bring it on."
Mrs Jeon put her hand on his arm and gave it an assuring squeeze.
Mr Kim nodded. "Obviously, we'll sue the sleezy hotel to kingdom come as well, that's just a walk in the park, and I would like to slap a lawsuit on that door to hell of a website as well, but,"
"Won't this be very expensive?" Mrs Jeon worried, "Three separate lawsuits?"
"Don't worry, Mrs Jeon," Jin said, "We'll take care of it."
"No." Mr Kim said, "My lawfirm will."
"Wow!" was all Jin could say.
"In the mean time," Mr Kim began,
Here it comes, Taehyung thought, the inevitable door.
"You two should separate," Mr Kim pointed at Jungkook and Taehyung, "I understand you live together?"
Tae just nodded. He didn't want to speak. Anymore. He needed to hold it in.
"Well, one of you should move out,"
"It should be me." Jungkook said reaching for Tae's and Jin's hands, "This is your home."
"No." Tae croaked out, "You need Namjoon and Jin to help you with the maths and stuff, I don't. And it's close to the school and you don't have a car, I do."
"But where will you go?" Mrs Jeon asked slowly rubbing Tae's back.
"Maybe I could move in with Yoongi and Hobi?"
"Do you want me to call them?" Namjoon asked and got up to do just that when Tae nodded.
Tae swallowed multiple times before asking, without looking up, "Would it be possible for me to take a sabbatical?"
"Taehyung! No!" Jungkook shouted, "I'll never get to see you!"
Tae took his hand and laced their fingers together, "Baby," he had to clear his throat, "I don't think I'll be able to be around you and not get to hold you, kiss you, be with you, like I'll always want to. It'll just be, too hard, to pretend like we've broken up." he angrily wiped a single tear from his eye, and whispered, "I don't think I'd survive."
"I'll see what I can do." Mr Kim promised.
"But what will you do, Tae?" Jin asked, truly concerned for his brother.
Tae shrugged, "I'll, get a job, or, start a business, or, I don't know, paint?"
None of it seemed at all appealing to him right now, but.
"Or start my frecken military service?" he suggested.
"No." Mr Kim said, resolute, "I need full access to you, and I know from experience that trying to get a lawsuit to work when the plaintiff is bound by military protocol? Murder."
"Ok." Tae shrugged again. He didn't want that either but, he might as well when things were like they were, but fine.
Namjoon returned after his phone call, "Yoongi says you can move in whenever you feel like it?"
"Tonight?" Tae asked.
"Tonight?!" Jungkook shrieked, "Tae, no! We're not doing this! I'll just quit and that's that!" he leaned back with a pout, crossing his arms infront of him.
Taehyung took a deep breath to calm himself, "Would you excuse us for a second?" he looked around the table, "I think Jungkook and I need to have a talk?"
Everyone nodded and Tae took Kook's hand and dragged him upstairs to his room.
'If I kiss him, I'll never be able to go through with it.' he said to himself.
Jungkook sat down on the bed but Tae remained standing in the middle of the room.
Taehyung braced himself, "Jungkook, I love you," he began holding up his hand to stop the protest he knew was coming, "I love you more than anything! But I can't let you throw everything out the window like this. We can do this. It's a year." Mr Kim had told them he thought it'd take about that long to get everything going, "We can pretend for a year. We're not breaking up. We're staying strong. Staying together. But apart."
"Is this what you want? For us to actually break up? 'Cause it will feel like that!" Jungkook cried.
"Baby, no! It's not what I want! But it is what we need to do." he almost caved, wanting so badly to hold him. Kiss him. Comfort him. But he knew if he did, he'd never be able to let him go. So he just left.
"Can you give me a ride?" he barked at Namjoon who nodded and got up immediatly.
Taehyung was out of there faster than you could say website. 'Cause he knew he wouldn't be able to keep it together if Jin or Mrs Jeon would hug him or something.
He didn't say a word the whole way over there and Namjoon didn't force him.
Taehyung had never been more grateful for anything than he was for Joon staying quiet.
One day, when he could breathe again, he'd thank him for it.
But not now.

Taehyung didn't say anything when Yoongi opened the door, and Namjoon just shook his head when Yoongi drew a breath to ask something, and let it out again, stepping aside, letting them in.
Tae stalked right into the kitchen and sat down at the table, hands stretched out infront of him, staring into the distance.
He heard Yoongi and Namjoon hold a mumbling conversation before Namjoon got into the car and drove off.
Yoongi entered the kitchen, turned the lights off and sat down at the small table, mirroring Taehyung with his hands infront of him.
They just sat like that.
In silence.
The whole night.
When dawn came, Yoongi got up and made breakfast, putting a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice infront of Tae and a plate of toast and scrambled eggs.
Tae looked down and took a sip of the juice and then managed to take a bite out of the toast and a mouthfull of eggs before he felt like he would throw up.
"Namjoon is coming by later today with some of your stuff." Yoongi said.
Taehyung nodded.
"I need to get to school," Yoongi continued, "my idiot partner managed to wipe our hard drive yesterday, so I need to salvage what I can and throw the clown off a cliff or something." Yoongi muttered.
"Do you need help with anything around the house?" Tae asked to his own surprise.
"Well," Yoongi smiled, "I live with Hobi..." he shrugged, "so if you can find anything, you should totally bust him on it."
Tae huffed in something that might have resembled a laugh.
"Would you like me to tell Hobi, about?" Yoongi waved his arms around.
"Would you?" Tae was grateful.
"Sure." Yoongi placed his now empty coffee cup in the sink, "And Jimin?"
Jimin had surprised them all and gone off to do his service just like that. Tae really had no clue as to why he'd decided to leave so abruptly but he suspected it might have something to do with Hobi's and Minho's stealth relationship that Tae and Kook had uncovered. And confirmed.
Tae backed away from that train of thought fast as lightning. "No." he answered, "don't tell him, there's nothing he can do anyway and he seems to be having a hard time as it is."
"Ok." Yoongi shrugged.
He picked up his bag and a folder with, Tae assumed, coding and concept sketches, fell out.
"Oh!" Yoongi said, "Here's something I actually do need help with!" he put the folder on the table, "It's this other project I'm working on, but something's just off about the artwork and I can't for the life of me figure out what! I was actually going to ask you to help me on it, anyway, so if you could just take a look at it and, I don't know what is is you art people do, analyse it, or whatever?"
"I'll take a look at it." Tae promised and accepted the folder.
"Fuck! I'm gonna be late!" Yoongi realised and hurried to pick up his keys.
"Thank you." Tae said, not alluding to the folder.
Yoongi stopped and turned to him, "Any time, Tae."
