Me or Her (James Potter)

Chapter 1

  Papa was rushing me and Nate like every year to get all are luggage ready so we could head to the Kings Cross Station before the train leaves to Hogwarts. "Estelle and Nathaniel Collins if you both don't get your bloody arses down here this instant you'll-"

"We'll miss the train yeah yeah you says this every year" Nate interrupted before Papa could finish but he was right he dose say that every year before we leave. Papa chuckled at Nates response, "That's only because both of you are snails now we better get a move on".

"You sure you got everything because there's no going back" Papa said while checking our luggage

"Yes Papa we have everything but you should've said that back at the house not when we're already here" I stated while Nathaniel was already greeted by his friends and already out of view

"How dare Nate leave without saying goodbye to his own Father just for that a Howler will be sent this instant" I laughed at how heartbroken Papa actually seemed but now he wouldn't let me leave until I saw my friends meaning either Emily or Sirius well mainly Emily since Mr.Sirius Black is always with his group of mischievous friends

As Papa was rambling on what he was going to say in Nates Howler I spotted Emily. I quickly turned to Papa,"That sounds like a wonderful idea and I can't wait to see Nates face but I really got to go Emily is over there and like you said don't want to be late!" Before he could respond I hugged him and ran towards Emily

"At least one of my children care about my existence" his voice faded as I ran and jumped my dear friend

" Emily Johnson how I missed you!" At this point we both were on the floor laughing. "Bloody hell Estelle! I saw you two weeks ago and I think you scared Apollo" as she checked on her Owl which in fact I think smiled at the whole situation I couldn't help but be excited we were finally going back, back home. "I don't know about you but two weeks is a long time if I say so myself in fact-"
"COLLINS" and once again I was on the floor but this time getting tackled by the one and only

"For Merlins sake Black I just got done from getting off the floor"

"Too bad little Collins" he winked and flashed his famous Sirius Black smile

"One don't call me that and two were are the other idiots, did they kick you out of the group?"

"HA! As if, if anyone is getting kicked out of the group first it's Peter" he nudged me and helped me up, he hugged Emily which she was disgusted by

"Aw come on don't hug me now I'm infested with Sirius Black germs" she said sarcastically

Sirius dramatically grabbed his chest "That is very offensive Em you lucky to even be hugged by me"

Before Emily could respond we heard a familiar voice call Sirius well....a couple of voices. All three of the marauders were screaming for Sirius

"Oi! Pads stop flirting!" James Potter yelled

"Come on Padfoot I'm hungry!" Peter Pettigrew yelled as he grabbed his stomach

"Sirius take your time don't listen to these lots!" Remus stated

I turned to Emily "Well don't go touch me now that you have a case of Sirius germs" I winked at her as she smacked the back of my head

"Hahaha very funny come here" she yanked me into a tight hug I swear I couldn't breathe at this point, we both turned to Sirius who was already with his friends and waved us goodbye, we started heading to the train before it got packed. 

"Holy Godric! All of the compartments are already taken!" Emily complained while we were trying to find at least one empty compartment but no luck which could only mean one thing

Emily sighed, "I have a feeling we're going to have to cram in a compartment with either your brother or Sirius" I looked at Emily wanting her to take back what she said because both of those options were the last thing I wanted especially sharing a compartment with The Marauders. I mean don't get me wrong Sirius has been my friend for years and I don't mind Remus really we're actually pretty good friends if I say so myself, it's just the other two but mainly James Fleamont Potter

"Let's check my brothers compartment first it shouldn't be full" I practically dragged Emily we're my brother was but it seems as if people beat us too it

"Sorry Elle were already bloody crammed in here" Nathaniel sounded apologetic but I knew he really didn't feel bad because he had mostly all the popular seventh years with him. Emily was a bright red as if she was embarrassed but angry at the same time.....did she like Nathaniel?....I laughed at the thought but I knew she didn't, right?

I slammed open the compartment door Sirius was in startling everyone besides Remus he was too deep into his book to even look up....I swear it's like he's in a whole different universe....Sirius looked at me and Emily confused but he focused more on Emily whose face was pink by the time we got there but you could tell she was furious

Sirius smirked, "And what gives me the pleasure of having two of you beautiful ladies in my compartment"

"There's absolutely no empty compartment left so your our last option"

All four of them looked up at me confused as if I wasn't allowed to speak to Sirius

Sirius chuckled, "I'm never the last option have you tried your brothers compartment little Collins?"

Emily's head shot up "Yes we did Black therefore making you are last option so stop being an arse and scoot!"

Me and Sirius started bursting into laughter while the other three chuckled. They all were moving so we could sit and once again just my luck I had to sit next to James....Of course I had to sit next to James freaking Potter he doesn't even know I exist hopefully he will switch spots with Remus....Sirius began to annoy Emily on how mad she was when I felt someone look at me. I look to my side and saw James sticking his hand out, "James Potter pleasure to meet you"
