Chapter 3

   "You didn't actually say that did you?" Emily was shocked when I told her what happened on the train

I blurted out, "It's not like he's going to notice anyways he's been shoving me- well us out the way since bloody first year!" She laughed at my response.....It's not a joke Em this is life or death.....

"Elle calm down it's fine, it was a mistake and he was just probably confused since we "barely" meet him".
I only hoped she was right we've been invisible too them for years nothing will change now.

*James P.o.v*

What did she mean I shove her out the way I barely fully meet her..... "Daydreaming about Estelle are we now mate" I turned to see Sirius smirking

"W-what no I was bloody hell shove off pads" I felt my face get hot..... I can already tell she's going to be the death of me and I barley meet her.....

"Geez calm down Prongs it was a joke but it looks like Jamie her got a new crush" Sirius put is arm around me while the two idiots started laughing.....new crush HA Lilyflower is the only girl for me plus I couldn't have feelings for Estelle, right?.....

"Just to be clear there the girls you always meet at the station and sometimes talk too during the year?" Wormtail asked across the table but I also wanted to know if it was as well

"Yea I've know Little Collins since I was a young lad then Emily came along and we've been friends ever since" he pretended to wipe away a tear.....how come I- I mean we've never noticed this before, how could I be so blind to someone that beautiful..... I turned to Sirius

"So you've been hiding them from us" I threw my hand onto my chest

"More like you've both just don't notice them" Remus said

Me and Peter looked at each other, "Your friends with them too!" I said in shock.....I'm starting to think my glasses don't work.....

Remus chuckled, "Since the end of third year" before I could respond I turned to see Estelle and Emily walking in the great hall, I forgot we parted ways and came to the great hall first

I couldn't help but stare at her, she was beautiful with her hazel eyes, light brown hair, and her smile Merlin she was perfect.

*back to Estelles P.o.v*

"Not again..." I was scanning the Gryffindor table and it was completely packed.....please don't be like the train.....

"Well looks like we have to sit next to great ol' Sirius Black again" Emily said sarcastically and once again she wasn't wrong at this point I'm starting to think she's never wrong but before we could even come up with a different plan Sirius shot up

"Hey over here!!! Little Collins, Em!!! Right here!!!" Sirius looked like a little kid

Emily grabbed my arm and dragged me over there

Thankfully this time I sat next to Remus and Peter while Emily sat across from us next to James and Sirius

"Hey Rem looks like you snapped back into our reality" I said pushing his side, I noticed James look at me and awkwardly smile

"What do you mean" Remus said very confused

"What she means is you didn't say Hi to us on the train you dumbo" Emily said throwing a piece of bread at him before he could respond Dumbledore stood up and gave his speech and gave us a warm welcome back like every year

All the first years got done being sorted into there houses and we all started heading to get the password to the common room this year

"Bladerdash is the password this year, Peter don't forget it like last year" Remus stated while we were heading up the stairs

I couldn't help notice that James was right next to me and since the stair way was crammed with everyone trying to head up we were close side by side, I felt the warmth of his body and I felt my face turn red

I slightly looked up at him and saw he was smiling and blushing, I turned to my side were Emily was supposed to be but she was in front of us with Remus, Sirius, and Peter talking about Merlin knows what

I felt my hand brush against his and I started remembering the warmth of his hand in mine.....snap out of it Estelle Collins snap out of it you don't like James Potter that would be stupid absolutely stupid..... And I knew it was stupid because he was in love with Lily Evans always has and always will

I felt his eyes staring at me so I looked up, "What is it Potter? Do I have something on my face?" I said chuckling because I didn't know what else to do at this point I had no escape, he smiled

"I just wanted to talk"

"Talk about what?" I felt my heart rate go up

"Earlier when you-"

"Hey James!" Lily said as we reached the common room, at this point everyone looked at Lily confused and shocked

"Why is everyone looking at me like that" she said confused

"Maybe because you never say Hi to James unless you want something" Peter said laughing

"Evans it's the first day what do you possibly need from Prongs?" Sirius said looking deep into her eyes

"I-I just wanted to say Hi that's all" she quickly responded and grabbed her two friends and rushed into the common room while her face was bright red.....Peter was right she never well, rarely talks to James first..... everyone was silent until

"Really lads she just said Hi to me no need to act like that" James said shaking his head but also had a shocked expression on his face, me and Emily looked at each other and I could tell we were thinking the same exact thing.....
