Chapter 15: Back Again

"Did you hear what happened to Gong Joo Young and Wang Ja Rim?" I heard a student ask her friend. I wasn't able to leave my classroom since morning because I was busy rushing the works our homeroom teacher gave the student officers.

Unfortunately, the class president was absent and I was given the responsibility. Although with the help of the rest of the student officers, it still wasn't enough for us to finish the work.

Hearing those just made me want to leave the classroom and ditch what the teacher tasked me to do. Damn, I should have just declined to be the vice president in the first place. I continued to listen to their discussion and learned that Gong Joo cursed at her, it was a shock for me since I had never expected that from him.

"Yoo Na, I brought you a snack." I heard Byung Hoon called out from the door. I glanced at him, he tossed me the snack he bought to which I had to catch, pretending to do it effortlessly.

"Thanks." I opened the snack that he gave me and started to slowly eat it while writing.

"Are you almost finished?" He asked taking his seat in front of me.

I nodded my head not because I'm too busy to answer, but rather since my mouth is full. I only had one paper to fill up before I finally finished everything. The rest of the student officers have already finished the task that I have assigned them to do.

After I finished, I had to listen to Byung Hoon blabber about him being tired of Joo Young and Ja Rim drama and all.

"Aren't we all."

When school ended, Ja Rim, Min Ji, Ah Ram, and I alongside Joo Young and his friends walked awkwardly. Every time we could think of something to say, the topic would only stay for a minute then silent.

"We agreed to meet up tomorrow." Ah Ram said trying to cut the awkward silence. "What time should we meet?"

"Did we?" Kyung Woo looked at his friends.

"I'm not going."

"Me neither."

Again, Joo Young and Ja Rim declined. Ever since this morning, they had been refusing to come with us when we would ask for their company.

"This is uncomfortable." I sighed.

"I hate this." Byung Hoon added.

"Then, should we cancel our plans?" Min Ji suggested.

"Yeah, we should do that." Kyung Woo nodded.

"Why? Let's just hang out."

"Right. If you're alive, live. If you want to play, play"

So far the only people who were apathetic with the situation were Ah Ram and Kyung Min. Ah Ram being tired of the mess and Kyung Min... well, he's Kyung Min.

"It would be better if I'm not there." Joo Young said before running off.

"I'm going to go first too."
