Chapter 29 - Back to reality

Y/N POV

As we hit the ground everything went black. My ears were ringing like crazy it felt like agony as I was floating around in darkness. A single light illuminated the darkness. I tried walking towards it, but it was like I was in water. My throat got tighter I had to swim. I didn't want it to end like this. I took my last energy and swam as fast as I could towards the light my neck tightened more and more the closer I got. When I could finally touch the light it felt like all the air in my lungs and my body was getting crushed. I reached my hand into the light and it expanded at a rapid rate. All the darkness went away and turned into white light. My eyes shot open. I quickly sat up gasping for air. I wrapped my hands around my neck as I looked around the room. I was in a hospital? All I heard was the beeping from the heart rate monitor. I looked down I had a tube sticking out of my stomach and a white bag attached to the other side. "Where am I? Did I survive the plane crash?!" My heart rate started raising as I thought of the girls. "Oh god! Please say they survived" I looked around the room. The bed I was in had stuffed animals in it. I saw Tzuyu's Yoda plush as one of them. I got confused, I glanced over at the table beside my bed. It had flowers and a bunch of get well cards on it. I reached out a grabbed one. That's when I realized I didn't have casts anymore. I inspected my arm and that's when I saw a scar on my left hand. "Wait. Nonono this can't be happening" I looked at the card and opened it. It was from Jihyo?

"How?" I muttered to myself as I started reading it

"Dear Y/N please wake up, I'm sorry for everything and I miss my little brother. I need you... we need you. Jihyo" I couldn't believe what I was reading I grabbed another card and opened it. It was from Mina and Chaeyoung.

"We miss you Y/N please recover me and Mina can't handle seeing you like this. Mina needs her boyfriend back. And I need my best friend back please wake up. Chaeng" I was at a loss for words. I had so many mixed emotions. I didn't know where I was, what is real and what is not? I put the cards back onto the table before I tried standing up. My legs felt weak, but not to the point where I couldn't walk. I grabbed a hold of metal hanger with wheels. The tube in my stomach was connected to a bag tbat was hanging from it. I slowly made my way to a door that was connected to the room I was in now. I opened the door as was greeted by a small bathroom. I went inside and looked at myself in the mirror I felt a wave if shock hit me as I saw myself. I had a scar on my forehead, I was pale and my cheeks caved in. I lifted my shirt and all my muscles were gone. I looked like living skeleton. "What happened to me!? I need to get out of here!" I walked out the bathroom and towards the only other door. I opened the door and peaked outside. I saw nurses and doctors walking down the wide hallways. There was a big window at the end of the hall and sunlight was beaming through. I walked out the room and down the hall. I heard a gasp behind me and I turned around. I saw a nurse looking at me like she saw a ghost.

"Stop! You can't leave you need to stay in bed!" She grabbed my arm and started moving me back to the room

"No please, HELP! WHERE AM I" I was feeling scared as she put me back in the bed.

"Stay here! I will get the doctor and he will explain everything to you" the nurse ran out the room and I was laying there dumbfounded. I felt fine, but I looked like shit. The nurse came back into with a man in a white coat.

"Wow astonishing! You're really awake" the doctor looked at me like I was a animal at the Zoo.

"Where am I? what happened? I want to go home!" I asked in a panicked state

"And no speech issues either... unbelievable" he stared at me and I started to get frustrated.

"ANSWER ME PLEASE!" I begged looking at him.
