Will walked down the hall of the empty corridor. School was over and students were leaving after clean up. Will got out of the nurse's office after faking a stomachache. Not to brag or anything, but he's a great actor. His dad is a doctor so Will know every symptom, every reaction. All of it. He's also studying to be a doctor, but he really did not feel like going to class.

On the way to fetch his bag, he walks by the freshman classrooms. He used to take naps there. A younger boy, looks about a freshman... or a middle schooler? Nah, no middle school would be in this school. It's a high school, duh. He wore earbuds and swayed slowly. Dancing around the mop handle. A short guy, black hair and eyes the color of dark chocolate. He was pretty skinny and was wearing a brown sweatshirt over the school uniform.

For such a small kid, he could sing. Will found himself blushing. He took out his earbuds and played another song on full blast. Will guessed that the boy thought he was alone.

"Hmm~" the dark haired boy typed on his phone and played another song.

After finishing mopping he began to wipe the desks and continued to sing.

Nico was minding his own business. Repeat. HIS OWN BUSINESS. So why was there a 2nd year just staring at him. He wasn't doing anything against the rules... right? At least he was cleaning. Nico tried his best to act as if he wasn't there. But... the sophomore didn't even hide himself. He was literally in the doorframe. Nico cleaned up quicker than he wanted and ran out of the other door.

"W-wait!" The sophomore called. Oh hell no. The sophomore could run. Nico's pace grew into a sprint and bolted out of the school. Fortunately, the sophomore didn't have much stamina gaining an advantage to Nico. Will was mad now. He quit track 5 years ago and now look at him. This is not the end. Will bolted faster despite his legs screaming in pain.

"WHY ARE YOU CHASING ME?!?" The freshman kept running towards the front gate.

"WHY DID YOU...RUN AWAY IN THE FIRST PLACE?" Will responded.

"BECAUSE YOU WERE JUST STANDING THERE!" Nico gasped for breath as he reached the gate.

"Gotcha!" Will five after Nico and they rolled on the grass laughing and wheezing for air.

"So? What do you want?" Nico asked with breaks for air.

"You sound pretty... wait no, you are pretty, but like your voice is something else, and it caught me by surprise and I really really REALLY like it, haha, am I freaking you out? I'm so sorry, it's something I do..." Will muttered.

"...pfft! Hahahahaha! That's why you stared at me? Hahaha oh thank you though. I thought I was in trouble or something," Nico smiled, "I think you're really pretty too."

"Wait for real?!?" Will sat up.

"Well yeah... am I not supposed to? You're pretty nice too," Nico sat up too.

"Can we be friends?" Will asked suddenly.

"Wha-?" Nico stared at him.

"I'm not good with making them, but can we be friends?" Will brushed him aside.

"Well... sure...?" Nico lifted an eyebrow.

"Cool," Will smiled and Nico smiled with him.
