I snap a picture of Andy on stage as Cora is yanking on my arm.
Well that one is going to be blurry.
I let go of my camera so it hangs around my neck and pick up a bottle of water before turning to her.
Cora is pointing and jumping up and down and I follow her finger to the approaching Austin Carlile. I wave at him and he waves back, picking up his pace and coming closer.
Cora has been freaking out over almost everyone she's seen since we got to the stage about thirty minutes ago.
I can't say I blame her, I mean most of the people running around here are my idols too. But at least I keep it together better than she has so far.
"She's younger and less mature than you." My subconscious reminds me and I shrug at the thought.
"This heart of fire, is burning proud! I am every dream you lost and never found." Andy sings into his microphone behind me and the crowd screams louder for him.
"Hey Fangirl." Austin rubs my head to go along with his new favorite greeting, successfully messing up my hair.
I set my water bottle down and try and fix my hair while Cora stares up, literally straight up, at Austin.
"You're taller in person!" She squeals loudly and starts bouncing on the balls of her feet.
I open my water bottle and take a long drink while Austin stares at me expectantly, obviously waiting for me to introduce Cora to him. I cap my water and sigh.
"Austin, this is my little sister Cora. Cora, this is Austin Carlile from Of Mice and Men." I say, gesturing back and forth between them as Austin nods.
"She looks like you, except if your hair didn't look like a church that caught fire." I stick my tongue out at him and Cora stares at us.
Cora takes a picture with Austin and he hugs her tightly afterwards, kissing her head.
Just as Cora looks like she's about to pass out, a man with black hair just below his ears, a black tank top with an upside down A on it that says ANTHEM, black skinny jeans, and Toms on his feet, walks up to Austin.
He looks me up and down quickly before his eyes land on my feet.
"I hate your shoes." He says to me before turning around to face Austin, talking to him about a broken microphone or something.
I look down at my black Vans, then to his black Toms.
I stare at Kellin Quinn's back before shrugging and turning around, taking a picture of Christan on stage.
"Ariel," Austin says to me and I turn around. "This is Kellin Quinn, from Sleeping With Sirens."
Kellin shakes my hand and I nod. "I know. I'm a big fan."
He looks up and down at me again. "I like your shirt." He says.
I glance down at the black tank top I changed into.
It has two skeleton fingers on either side that are poised in the flipping off position. The text in the middle says,
Fuck this.
Fuck that.
Fuck it.
"Thanks." I smile and he turns to Cora, who looks like she is in serious danger of fainting.
"I-I-I-I'm C-Cora." She stutters out and I think that her face is going to hurt from smiling so much.
"I'm Kellin Quinn. Are you Ariel's sister?" He asks politely, shaking her hand.
