Skye and the Rest of the Team

The triskellion tour was finished and despite the fact that she couldn't enter a lot of areas, it still took a lot of time. Time, in which Ward should have returned. Even though she was sure he was probably alright, she still worried.

Now they were at the bus along with May, who had joined them towards the end of the tour, waiting for him and Coulson.

"How did you find the Triskellion, Rookie?" someone asked from behind and she stood up, turning to look at her SO.

"It was great. I look forward to the day I will be able to enter as an agent." she said.

"Well, I don't know about that day but Coulson  said there was something he needed tell us. Come." he said and the two went to his office together. When they got there, May and FitzSimmons were already there.

"I think everyone wants to know why this sudden trip was about. Firstly I was quite tired of hiding I was alive from the avengers and told them the truth." he stated, causing FitzSimmons to start bricking.

"Wait, the avengers were at the Triskellion?"

"Oh god, sir why didn't you tell us?"

"Dr. Banner and Mr. Stark-"

Coulson silenced them by raising his hand. "If I had told you, Skye would have learnt too and nothing would have stopped her from finding a way to meet Stark. Considering their snarkiness and nature of disobeying the rules," he said and sent a playful glance at Skye who put her hands on her hips to show mock offence "that is something I believed should have been avoided."

"We were in the same building with Thor." Skye mumbled.

"Well, he and Dr. Banner couldn't come actually." he said, causing her to roll her eyes, indicating meeting with the other four would be great too.

"And the second issue was something that required a lot of questions answered by your SO," glancing at Ward "and some other senior agents who were with us during some of our missions." he said. May's eyes widened, understanding what he was saying.

"I am glad to say, the answer was positive." he took a SHIELD ID of his pocket and passed it to Skye, whose eyes widened.

"Welcome to SHIELD, Skye." she took the ID from him  slowly and looked at him and Ward who were smiling.

"I don't know what to say." she said, smiling. "Thank you."

"You don't need to, you have passed the tests required with flying colours. You stood up and took a mission upon yourself. You deserved it, congratulations." he said, leaving the office. May too left after congratulating her. FitzSimmons gave her big hug.

"It's great."

"Congratulations Skye."

Skye noded, not knowing what to say, still so surprised and very happy. After FitzSimmons had left too, she looked at Ward who was still smiling.

"I couldn't have done it without a very patient and a super SO."

"No, you could have. I am no Clairvoyant but I do believe some things are meant to be." he said and Skye hugged him.

"Are you sure that was the right call?" May asked.

"May, even Agent Hand stated she was impressed with what Skye could do with her restrictions increased. What do you have against Skye?" he asked.

"I don't have anything against her but she still can't seperate her feelings from the mission. She shouldn't be here in that case, let alone be an agent."
