Welcome to my very first, and most likely not the last, Kim Possible fanfic!! I'm adding a new OC to this, so get ready to meet Wyatt Evans!
(Shego's POV):
I was so close to finishing those brats for once and for all. I almost had her down, while Dr. D was supposed to shoot the ray, but of course, he got distracted looking at some animal on the ground and forgot to, and Kimmie got the advantage while, wait, what's his name? I don't even remember. Anyways, he started doing some stupid dance with his little naked rodent and then Kim did some kind of roundhouse kick on Dr. D, and we failed. Again.
I am tired of losing. Every. Single. Time. I'm not just Drakken's hot sidekick, I'm the brains AND the brawn of this operation! It's my time to shine.
(Kim's POV, the next morning):
I woke up and rolled over, not wanting to go back to school. Yesterday was a crazy day, even though it was pretty similar to what I do every day. Wake up, go to school, get a call from Wade, ditch, go fight the bad guys, win, and come back home to the tweebs doing something stupidly smart. My thought process was interrupted by the phone ringing on my nightstand. I sighed and picked it up, still groggy from sleep.
I pressed the answer button and a familiar voice answered the phone.
"Hello?" I asked, looking at my comfy pillow longingly.
"Morning, KP!" Ron said happily.
"Morning, Ron! What's up?" I asked.
"I dunno, just got bored. Rufus wants to say hi!" he laughed and I heard a squeaky voice, and it made me smile.
"Hey, Rufus! So, is there any OTHER reason you called me at 6 in the morning?" I quirk an eyebrow even though he can't see it.
"Oh, no, not at all! Just wishing you a wonderful day!" he said, and I could hear the nervousness in his voice. 'What the heck is going on?' I thought.
"Oh, uh... well, ya know how there's a... d-d-dance next Friday?" he asks, his voice cracking.
"Yeah... what about it? Are we going together again?" I asked, confused.
"Well, uh, I mean, if you want to!" he said, and then giggled nervously. I pulled the phone away from my face and looked at it weirdly. What's gotten into him?
"I got nobody else to go with... Josh got sick yesterday and told me he didn't want to risk me getting it too." I frowned and looked down at my hands, twiddling my thumbs. "Why?"
"Oh great! I mean... not great... but great for me!" he said, and I was now very confused at how he was acting. Who is this, and where is the Ron Stoppable I knew..?
(Ron's POV):
"Are you okay, Ron?" Kim asked me, and I looked over at Rufus, wondering what to say. He'd been trying to help me ask her to the dance, but I just couldn't get myself to say it! He wrote something down on a piece of paper and pointed to it.
"Will... you... go... as... my..." I started, getting confident that I knew what I was doing. I grinned and tried to say the word 'date', but it came out... "NACO!"
She paused for a second, and I realized what I had said. Rufus facepalmed and groaned and laid down on the desk from second hand embarrassment.
"Are you sick too?" she asked after a long pause. "As your naco?"
"Wait! No, that's not what I- ugh, nevermind. See you at school, KP." I sighed defeatedly and hung up the phone before she said anything else.
