Hello everyone. Enjoy one adorable windy boyyo from the comics. Credits for the picture are to Avatar: The Last Airbender's Lost Adventures Comics, page 163, and to the show's and comic's creators.
Even more, I am so sorry my updates haven't been consistent as usual. I haven't updated in a month. Even with my break, I didn't get to write as much. Now that we're back, everything is back, and I've been super stressed and need a good day to happen sometime soon. I hope you all understand. I will continue to write. I'm only saying that I don't know if the updates will be every weekend (like normal). But most of all, I want to thank every one of you for reading my story and taking 7 hours and 8 minutes... now more of your time to read my story. I also thank you all for standing by my updates for about four months now. I appreciate it.
Thank you for 8 thousand reads! That's so crazy! I can't believe it, and I'm so happy that you guys are liking this story. So, I'll say it again, if you enjoyed this chapter, please vote and comment. I love reading them and responding.
Sorry for not a lot of Kataang moments currently, but they'll come soon. But if you want entirely (or at least mostly) kataang moments, I published a new book filled with Kataang one-shots. So if you'd like, check it out!
I don't own these characters. They belong to Bryke.
Sorry for the disastrously long author's note at the beginning of the chapter. Now, we begin.
*IMPORTANT: One more thing: I'm putting a trigger warning on this chapter. A trigger warning due to panic attacks. I'm sorry if I didn't get everything accurate to your experience. I was going off of mine and some research. I'll put bold text to where it gets more prominent.*
Wednesday (the following day from the last chapter):
Katara's POV:
Last night, I changed my alarm song to Wake Me Up by Avicii from Aang's previous choice, Burn by Ellie Goulding. So, today, I woke up to Avicii's techno vibes. I think I was going to keep this song as my alarm. Although Toph was right when it came to heavy metal, it would wake me up, no doubt. It's the fact that I'd be a sourpuss, as Sokka calls it, for the entire day. Besides the point, I woke up and stretched. Yesterday was a success. After Aang had left, I had an interesting conversation with my father. He was undeniably supportive of my and Aang's relationship, but he wanted to set ground rules. He had said that we made a good match. Even better, he had said that we reminded him of the relationship he had with my mother. I got out and made my bed. I wished that my mother could've met Aang. I made my way over to the bathroom and waited for the water to warm up inside the shower. If my mother ever met Aang, I would think that she'd approve of him.
I undressed and folded my pajamas on the closed toilet seat. The air around me was warm from the steam emitting from the shower. I stepped inside, letting the warm water surround me. I still couldn't get over Zuko's apology. I wanted to tell someone, but it's between Zuko and me, not them. I'd love to tell Aang, but he doesn't know the whole story between Zuko and me. But, he had only heard stories of Zuko's constant bullying. I should tell him. Aang has been nothing but truthful with me the whole time. He opened up about his nation, and here I am holding the fact of a simple, useless apology that meant nothing from him. I sighed and continued to shower.
I stepped out, not bothering to waterbend the water out of my hair this time. I wrapped my towel around my body and dried off enough, so I would be able to walk to my room without creating a trail of water.
