A/N: Hey everyone! I wanted to thank you all for all the comments and lovely support you've given me. We hit 11k reads! I don't have anyone else to thank but all of you! Trust me when I say it means the world to me. School has been difficult, and I haven't found a lot of time to write or read. Anyway, I hope this chapter satisfies you all. A disclaimer: this is going to be a long one. Think of it as an apology for not updating recently.

Aang's POV:

I felt tiny paws crawling up and down my hip.

"Momo," I whispered groggily.

I didn't want to move from my warm, comfortable position. I didn't dare open my eyes. I wanted to continue to sleep throughout the morning. The thing about high school was that I always had to wake up be extremely early. By the time that weekends came, it was relaxing to sleep in a few extra hours. Still, Momo continued to prod around my curled-up body. I guess this was my wake-up call.

"Alright, alright, I'm getting up, Momo."

With that, he jumped off of my hip and onto the duvet. I swung my legs off my bedside, gazing through the window. The sun had already risen high. I was glad I had turned my alarm off even though I didn't exactly wake up naturally today.

Knowing Momo wanted attention, my meditation would have to wait. I turned to Momo, who was gazing at me.

"Are you hungry?" I asked him.

He ran to the footboard of my bed and jumped off. I guess that meant he was. Stretching after standing up, I followed Momo to the kitchen.

"Hmm, what should I have for breakfast," I said to myself, looking at the contents of the refrigerator.

I looked to the floor.

"Momo, what would you like to eat?"

He flew to my shoulder as we both peered into the fridge. I sighed. I didn't know what I wanted. I pulled out the egg carton and some vegetables. I guess an omelet it was. Before doing anything else, I walked outside to Appa's barn. I hadn't seen Gyatso in the kitchen. It was the weekend for him as well. It only made sense if Gyatso was going to sleep in as well. Honestly, I hadn't even checked the time. It didn't seem too early, but then again, the sun had started to come earlier. So as far as I knew, I could've been 8 in the morning.

I slid the barn doors open, greeting Appa.

"Hey, buddy," I said, wiping my hands across each other to get the dirt off.

I walked to the hay area and grabbed a bale. We were getting on the low side of our supply. I'd have to add it to the list. After feeding Appa, I headed back inside to check the time and make my omelet.

Once I set the pan, bowls, and knives on the counter, I turned to check the time displayed on the oven. No wonder Gyatso wasn't up; it was 7:42 in the morning. I don't know of many people who would be up this early. I started to chop the vegetables and whisked the eggs together in a bowl. When I had finished, I emptied everything from the bowl into the pan. On my shoulder, Momo found his place, looking down at the cooking omelet. With my free hand, I gently scratched his chin. Once my hand dropped from his fur, I made my way to where our crockery was and took out a plate. I returned to the pan with utensils and a plate with Momo, who was still contently perched on my shoulder.

I shook the pan over the plate, letting the omelet slide off. I set the pan down and sat down at the table, stopping Momo from going to my arm.

"Momo," I said, "you already had your breakfast."

He chirped in response.

"Fine, how about this? I'll give you a quarter of it. Is that good, your Momoness?"
