"Don't you ever feel bad about everything you've done?" Hazel asked, walking next to Leo. "You're practically just using him,"
"It's fine, Haze. He doesn't mind me using him, he likes it. He always has, and he always will. There's a reason I'm in charge here,"
"It just feels wrong,"
Leo stopped, grabbing onto Hazels hands and looking at her in the eyes. A cloud of pink washed over her, and her eyes became pink before turning back.
"There. Now, will you question me again?" Leo asked, a tone of warning in his voice.
"No," Hazel shook her head, a bit of fear hiding in her dark eyes. "I won't ever question you again. I swear."
"Good. Now let's go see how the rest of camp is doing," Leo smiled. Hazel nodded and the two walked off, Jason and Frank trailing them as guards do.
Percy met the two of them at the entrance to camp, sliding his arm around Leo's back as Leo leaned his head on Percys chest.
"Hey," Leo said, blushing red. He openly excepted Percys warmth and smiled. "How are you?"
For a moment, Percy was confused on Leo's actions seeing as they differed from his past. But he decided to let that slide. "Good, my love. How are you?"
"I'm great," Leo was as red as a tomato.
Hazel scrunched her eyebrows, confused. "You're never that nice. You always just use him, why start being kind now?"
"What?" Leo inhaled sharply. What did he say up there? What did make them do? His memories were all fuzzy now, but why would he want to hurt Percy and use him? That was wrong.
"You okay?" Percy asked, studying Leo's face with worry. He pulled the boy closer to his chest. "You seem a little off today."
"Uh, yeah. Just, I need to fix something," Leo said, he looked at Hazel then back up at Percy. "You two, follow me,"
They walked to the woods, finding a clearing to do what Leo wanted. He looked at Hazel and Percy, waving his hands until a light pink cloud washed over the two of them.
"I'm sorry, but I need to make this better. I can't fix everything, but I can help make this part better," Leo said.
He turned to Hazel. "Go back. Don't be how I made you. You never liked Frank, but you have always been like a sister to me. Tell me if I'm doing wrong.
"And Percy, I want you to be normal. Be you, just love me. That's all I wanted at first, just you. Always you.
"You know what? Go back to normal. Spread this message back through everything but change just a bit. I was the hero at the beginning, and it was always me and you two. And instead of the seven, it was us again. People like me though, and the so whatever I ask function remains. Annnabeth is still shy and stupid, piper still vain and Drew-like. Jason and Frank, you'll be like a side character. Never really noticed and perfectly content,"
Leo looked around and watched the pink cloud spread through camp.
"This might not be how it used to be, but it's better than it is now,"
