chapter 8

I close my book gently and put my book on my night stand and turn so my back was facing my bed room door

I bet ironhide was frustrated

I chuckle but a sad smile pulls at my lips

The lennox family took me in but his sister took me even though lennox and his wife wanted me...I think they knew that she and her husband would abuse my powers

I close my eye's as darkness consumes me

-dream/flashback-

I giggle as I was only seven as i sit hiding behind that willow tree

"I'm gonna get you!" My older sister laughed

She was the goddess of life and i was ment to be the godess of everything...but most importantly war

I was supposed to destroy anything evil that were to harm the world

Even though my body was just the age of a mere child my mind and soul was as old as the night star's that lit the night sky

I heard a scream and ran towards the noise and saw my sister laying limp as a man hovered over her trying to tear off her wings

My anger grew and my fist balled

"How dare you" i hiss

His head shoots up and stares wide eyed

"HOW DARE YOU KILL THE GODESSES OF LIFE! YOU SHALL BE PUNISHED FOR YOUR CRIME!" I scream as my voice goes dark

The grass under my feet starts to wither away as my hair floats in the air turning pitch black as my eyes turn red

Tears of gold pore down my cheeks my fist ignite with a blue flame as he watched scared for his life

"MAY YOU BURN FOR THIS CRIME!"

He burst into flames as he screams and crys for mercy but i grant him no such thing

Once the man has been burned to ash my powers stop and i weep for my dear sister

I was all alone in this world as my sister soul was carried safely to the stars

Hundred years passed from her death and a father whos baby was ill came into my forest looking for a miracle

He had pleaded wirh me to heal his ill baby so i did just that and he welcomed me into his family intill his sister took me away for her own self desire

-End of dream/flashback-

I shoot up and take a deep breath and look at the clock

Only an hour had passed

I sigh and slowly get up and get dressed into some blue jeans that are easy to move in and a some what tight shirt so it didn't get snagged on anything and my brown cowboy boots

I walk over to my bedroom door and open it then close my door gently behind me as I quietly sneak down the hall

"Where do you think your sneaking off to?" I heard uncle whisper

I slowly turn around and sure enough uncle Lennox was standing there with his arms crossed

I sigh and lossey cross my arms as well

"I was going for a walk in the forest...i had that dream again" I mutter

He nods understanding and smiles softly then engulfs me into a hug
