It was the next day, and Minho and I were on our way to the pit, picking up Thomas before we were off into the maze. Once we got there, Minho kneeled on one knee while I stayed up on my feet, my arms crossed.

"Big day, greenie. You sure you don't wanna sit this one out?" Minho asked sarcastically.

Thomas shook his head, "Come on, man. Get me outta here." He chuckled.

Minho opened the door, letting Thomas out before all three of us went to go get our gear from the map room. Once we were done, we started walking towards the doors, that were still closed. Right as we stopped in our tracks, they started opening, the loud noise of gears going through the glade.

I felt Minho grab my hand, intertwining our fingers together, holding onto my hand tightly. We both glanced at Thomas, seeing him look at the doors. I smiled softly, before Minho spoke up.

"Let's go!" He said, running into the maze, pulling me, considering we were still holding hands.

I glanced back, seeing Thomas running not too far behind us. He was fast. Soon, he caught up to Minho and I, running at the same speed as us. We turned many corners, Minho leading the way. We ran through a large area, which was passing section five, then we were passing section six. And then, we finally made it to section seven.

We walked down a path, being silent till Minho spoke up.

"Strange." He said.

"What?" Thomas asked.

"Seven's not supposed to be open for another week." He explained.

We continued walking down the path, till we stopped at the blades.

"What the hell is this place?" Thomas questioned.

"We call 'em blades." I informed him.

We walked through them, Minho and I still holding hands, our fingers intertwined together. After a little walking, we started jogging, until we stopped, seeing a dark red shirt on the ground in front of us.

We all crouched down, before I picked up the shirt by the straps. I recognize this, it's Ben's. He made it this far?

"It's Ben's, isn't it?" Thomas spoke up.

I nodded, "Yeah." I muttered. I felt tears come to my eyes. I'm guessing Minho noticed, because he started rubbing my back soothingly. He knew how close Ben and I were, so it was hard.

We got back up to our feet, "Griever must've pulled him down here." Minho said.

Suddenly, we heard a beeping sound. We furrowed our brows before I turned Minho around, grabbing the device that was inside the griever from his sack. It was making that sound. I walked in one direction, and it kept making a noise. My back was facing the boys, while I looked up, realizing what it was doing.

"I think it's showing us the way." I said.

I turned back to them before we started walking through the blades. Just then, I stopped, the device was beeping more.

"Wait. Wait. Wait." I muttered.

"What? What?" Minho mumbled back.

I turned to the left, hearing the device beep faster.

"This way. Come on." I motioned for them to follow.

We continued walking, until we looked to our right, stopping once we see a long path ahead of us. I glanced at the boys before walking in, them following me.
