Chapter 3

This is on New Years Eve.

Osamu and Atsumu get a text from the group chat that everyone is in. 

Osamu: Oi are you gonna go? 

Atsumu: Go where?

Osamu: Didn't you check? Nishinoya and Tanaka are having a New Years party. Everyone's invited. 

Atsumu: Oh! Yeah I'm gonna go. Are you?

Osamu: Hmm I guess I'll go too. 

Atsumu: Okay. What time is it again? 

Osamu: It's around 4. But we're gonna have to leave early to get there on time.

Atsumu: Okay.

They arrive at the party.

Nishinoya: Heyyy! You guys are here!!

Tanaka: We've been waiting. You guys sure took your sweet ass time to get here.

Osamu: It's Atsumu's fault. Jeez. Even though I told him we had to leave early he still somehow managed to get late.

Atsumu: Hey! It's not my fault! I couldn't find my phone! 

Nishinoya: It's fine. You're here now.

Everyone started to play and have fun. 

Tanaka: I have an idea guyss. Lets play a drinking game!

Nishinoya: Yesss! Let's do it!

Kuroo: Where are you even gonna get the alcohol from?

Tanaka: I brought some with me!

Suga: I don't think this is a good idea. We're underage and there are no adults here.

Nishinoya: It'll be fineeee.

Atsumu: Oh! Me first! Me first!!!

They all continue playing until Atsumu gets drunk because he keeps losing.

Osamu: I'll take him home. He's too drunk to even stand.

Atsumu: I can standdd. See, look.

He almost fell. But Osamu catches him.

Osamu: OI! Stay still. And don't move. 

Atsumu: Samuuuu. Hmmm I love youuu. 

Osamu: Jeez what are you saying?

Atsumu: I love you sooo muchh. You're the besttt.

Osamu blushes a little.

Osamu: I-i love you too.

Osamu says quietly.

Osamu: Okay, let's get going now.

Suga: Okay. Take care. Good bye.

Everyone: Good bye!

Osamu: Bye.

Atsumu: Bye Byeee!

Osamu lays Atsumu down in the back of the car because he kept falling asleep. When they got home Atsumu was still very drunk.

Osamu: Oi. We're here. Get up. Jeez, are you asleep? *He looks so cute when he sleeps.* 

Osamu carries Atsumu to his room.

Osamu: Oi. Wake up and take a shower.

Atsumu: Hmm. Okayy. Ughh.

After his shower. It was 11:30 and his family was sitting downstairs by the TV eating tangerines. At this point, Atsumu had already sobered up.

Atsumu: Oh is it time already?

Osamu: Not yet. There's a bit of time left.

Atsumu: Oh I hear fireworks!!!

Osamu: Yeah. I guess the neighbours are lighting them.

Atsumu: Let's go to the balcony and look at them!! The balcony is the perfect place to see them.

Osamu: I'm coming. Jeez, slow down.

Atsumu: They're so pretty. 

Osamu: Yeah. You're right.

Atsumu: So are you...

Atsumu whispered hoping he wouldn't hear.

Osamu: Huh? Did you say anything?

Atsumu: O-oh n-no nothing. Haha

Atsumu was just staring at Osamu. Mesmerised by how beautiful he looked. The light of the fireworks reflecting on his skin made him look more dazzling. Atsumu was so caught up with his feelings he didn't even realise he had kissed Osamu. Osamu was too shocked to respond.
