Chapter 01 - A Shocking Revelation (Pt 3)

At Sugarcube Corner, I placed in my order for a baker's dozen of carrot cupcakes, glancing over to Ludger who was examining the delicacies behind the glass case. I levitated several bits, the currency for Equestria instead of Munny, out of my small blue pouch that I had on hoof, placing them onto the counter. I then gathered his attention by clearing my throat, "Get whatever you want. I've got it covered." I held up the pouch with a wink.

He stared at my coin purse before smirking. "Did you spend an hour making all that?" He recalled the time I convert most of my Munny into Gald---the currency of Ethea.

My right eye twitched a bit, causing me to swing my tail in order to whip his flank.

He let out a yelp after it happened. "I was teasing!" He gave me a shaky smile while rubbing his rump with a hoof. "Anyway, it's fine. I'll only be taking a vanilla cupcake."

I rolled my eyes, grinning. "Trust me of this. You will have to try everything on their menu. You can even make requests." I looked over to Mrs. Cup Cake, gesturing to her as if he was crazy to not try all of her items.

Mrs. Cup Cake was a light cerulean earth pony with rose colored eyes and light crimson mane that had light grayish crimson stripes.

"Anything you crave, they can make," I added before staring at Mrs. Cake, realizing something. "Huh, that would explain all the bizarre creations all the pregnant mares always order."

Mrs. Cake chuckled at my random thought.

Ludger let out a smile, chuckling as well. "Then, I guess I'll have to take you on your offer."

The baker gasped and rushed off to the back, quickly whipping up all the items on the menu along with the help of her husband, Mr. Carrot Cake.

Carrot Cake was a yellow earth pony with an orange mane and tail. He seemed to have an underbite but didn't bother him one bit.

I bumped flanks with Ludger which startled him. "Come on. Let's wait over with the others. Besides, I'm waiting for a certain pony to appear. She'll be making her appearance any time now, so be prepared if she comes out from under a chair, table, or even out of nowhere." I let out a sigh, already done with the pink party pony.

Ludger was very confused. "Wait, what?"

I looked at him and shook my head. "Just... be prepared." I then trotted over to a nearby table where Sora and the others were seated, already eating their food. "So," I gathered their attention, Ludger coming over to sit beside me. "What was everyone going to do today before I ran off?" I questioned them, looking at Sora and Applejack.

Sora looked up from his muffin with chocolate chips. "I was just going to finish up my chores and spend the rest of the day with Kairi." He had one of the cake twins, Pumpkin Cake in his hooves, playing with them.

Pumpkin Cake was a pale yellow female unicorn foal with an orange mane and tail. Her mane was pulled up and tied with a light blue ribbon. She was then twin of Pound Cake---a light golden gray male pegasus foal with a brown mane and tail.

I still didn't understand the explanation Mr. Cake explained when they first had them. I knew how genetics worked, but this was was still a weird phenomenon.

"I was researching how to be a princess. The diplomacy and whatnot." Twilight said making the others roll their eyes. "Hey, being a princess is new to me and it's overwhelming."

I chuckled at her. "Trust me, Twilight. It'll get easier. Besides, you have Princess Celestia for guidance. Be glad you have someone to show you instead of doing it alone." I told her, who let out a sigh. I levitated the child from Sora's grasp and began to tickle her, making the baby unicorn squeal and giggle in delight.
