"hey reese?" payton said looking up over at me, he had not long came home from hanging out with morgan and for the past like ten minutes he's been laid on my bedroom floor
"yeh?" i questioned, my eyes locked onto my phone
"when uh when you said you really loved me the other day, how uh how did you mean it?" he asked
"because i can't stop thinking about it" he added
"i mean it like i really love you payton" i replied, putting my phone down and looking down at him
he sat up straight and placed his legs out, he took one glance at me making my heartbeat increase, my palms became sweaty and i just knew we were about to reveal everything.
"yeh i know but you're my best friend, we're bestfriends we love each other so much" he spoke, i laid down on my chest and watched as he nervously spoke
"but i love you so much more than a bestfriend" he said, his eyes where focused on the floor and he was gently tapping the carpet
"i love you more than anyone in this world reese, no one has ever made me feel the way you do, i am head over heels in love with you and i have been since we were what tweleve" he blurted out making a small smile appear on my lips
"like reese for real, ever since the day i met you i just knew there was something different about you and i just knew you were meant to be mine" he said
"everything about you i love, everything. i love." he added
"i haven't tried to hide it either, i have made it very clear, countless amount of times" he lightly chuckled now looking up at me, a small blush had covered his cheeks and you could just tell he was nervous
i let out a small laugh and gave him a smile
"what's funny?" he asked
"i love you" i replied
"like i love you, like i love you so much payton" i added
"you do?" he asked
"mhm" i nodded
"good" he smiled to himself
"yeh" i mumbled
"so like when you said all that stuff about having kids and getting married you meant that?" i asked, a small chuckle leaving my lips shortly after
"yeh of course" he replied as he stood up and walked over to the bed
"you didn't think i meant it?" he asked
"i mean i don't know" i shrugged, he sat down besides me and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear
"i mean everything i've said, i want to love you, i want to start a family with you, i want to marry you, i want to grow old with you, i want to live this life with you reese" he said
"quirky" i laughed
"what?" he questioned
"i don't know i'm super awkward right now i'm sorry" i said
"of course" he lightly laughed
"can i take you out tomorrow morning?" he asked
"i-uh-yes if you have to" i replied
"you're useless" he sighed, shaking his head
"payton shut up" i said
"reese no" he smirked, i sat up on my knees and gently pushed him away from me
"loser" he laughed
"you're so mean considering you just admitted your undying love for me" i scoffed, he just shook his head and looked up at me
"i'm taking you out tomorrow alright" he said
"alright" i replied
"alright" he smiled
"can we kiss now?" i asked, he let out a small laugh and gently grabbed my chin, pulling me closer to him

"i love you payton" i replied, he gave me a small smile and placed his lips onto mine
