"reese, i'm home!" finley called as she walked into the apartment, she took one look at me and just shook her head
i was sat in sweats and a hoodie, my hair was in a bun and i had fluffy socks on, a blanket was thrown over me and i was currently rewatching old sister squad videos
"you're living the life" she laughed, she put her bag and keys down and she walked over besides me
"i really need to edit but i can't be bothered to get up" i mumbled
"edit tomorrow then, don't stress it" she said sitting besides me, i straight away laid my head on her shoulder and cuddled into her, me and finley where very close, she's literally my best friend.
i have four siblings, shes by far my favourite.
"is payton actually coming here?" she asked
"i don't know, he said when he wasn't busy but i don't know when that is" i replied
"plus something always comes up when we try to actually meet so i doubt we will" i said
it's true, something always comes up, we've tried to meet what nine times, everytime we've had to cancel
"eight/nine times right?" she asked
"mhm" i said
"it's just not our time yet" i shrugged
"and we're different people now to what we were five years ago, if we had met back then i guarantee we wouldn't be the friends we are today" i added
"true" she said
"but if he does come out here you going to let him stay?" i asked looking up at her
"of course" she replied
"good, thank you" i said, she gave me a smile and laid her head on top of mine
