"My name is Leah Collins and Im suicidal"

"You're what?" I honestly hope I didnt sound rude, but holy s hit.

"F-forget it- uh, again, thanks for the help-" she stand up nervously, spilling the things on the table in the process

"No, uh- Im sorry, its just- wow."

"Wait. Um, stay, please stay, I want to help you. Please" I say, looking up to her

"I dont need your pity Drew. Ive told you, now you know, its because of what I just said right? Please just forget I said anything." her eyes are hard, a dark shade of brown now.

I shake my head "No, that's not it, I swear, sit down, lets talk yeah?"

She bits her lip, and nods before taking a seat again, I look back at Jared, he's still carelessly flirting with the middle aged women, and I scowl.

I sigh before turning around to face Leah, she looks at me "Is that your boyfriend?" She asks

I choke on my saliva, "What the f- what? no, no, no, no, no" I almost yell

She narrows her eyes at me "Its okay. He's cute-"

"He's my bestfriend" I scowl

"Oh. Uh- sorry- its just- you keep looking at him and I thought-"

"Please stop- gross, uh no" I groan

"Sorry" she whispers

I sigh "Its okay, really- his name is Jared, Ill introduce you to him later." I say

She nods and we patiently waits for our food.

"Plus" I start, making her look at me once more "Even if I was gay, he's definitly not my type" I try and mimick a girly girl,

Leah laughs, showing her small dimple on her left cheek, I grin, the first time she has smiled in front of me, she notices and her smile is soon gone, she coughs and looks down again.

My smile is still there as I carefully look at her, she's something, alright.

"Dude, and then I was like- shut the f uck up man, math is hard, he got soo mad, he kicked me out of the room, Im such a rebel huh?" I groan

"Jared, shut up, you're annoying her with your dumb ass stories man-" I say,

"No, its fine" Leah says, "I actually failed maths, it is hard, I never understood it, I feel you Jared.

"I can teach you" I blurt out, making Jared snicker in the back, I turn and glare at him

"Yo, why am I in the back? Im older thank you, and Im your bestfriend. What happened to bros before hoes? No offence Leah" Jared whines

"Non taken" is her responce "We can switch if you want"

"Yeah that'd be great-"

"No, dont listen to him Leah, all he does here is mess around with the radio stations" I say, looking at the road ahead of us.

"F uck you man, its like the Sahara Desert over here" He snaps

I roll my eyes "Do you even know where that Desert is? Just a hint, its not in Australia"
