TNS Season 8 - A-Troupe VS B-Troupe

Part 5

The day after the meeting, Studio 1

Presley, Grace, Winnie, Ethan, Marcus, Pete, and Maya practicing.
"That was a very high jump, great job Winnie!" complimented Presley.

"I have been working on it lately, thanks for noticing" thanked Winnie to Presley.

Cleo just entered Studio 1 in a hurry,
"Hey check this out"

"What?" asked Pete.

"Here it says : 'Dancers must finish every tests that was given or they will immediately be cut from the Nationals team' , so please cancel all your plans for this week and let's focus on this test" informed Cleo showing the pamphlet of the rules and schedules.

All the dancers nodded,
"Uhh and don't forget to take care of your health and don't push yourself too hard" said Presley.

"Yeah.. thank you Presley" said Cleo confused.

Presley, Grace, Winnie, Ethan, Marcus, Maya, and Pete continued their practice.
"Great Marcus! Just make sure those feet stays pointy" corrected Presley to Marcus.

"Okay" replied Marcus.

Cleo stared at them for a few seconds before leaving Studio 1 and went to The Next Steep. She entered The Next Steep and went to Jude who was sitting with Izzy.
"Have you told the team?" asked Jude to Cleo.

"Yeah" answered Cleo "Uhh where's my muffin? I left it here before" asked Cleo.

"Oohh so that muffin was yours..." replied Izzy shyly. Cleo rolled her eyes and said
"I'll just buy another one"

"Sorry!" shouted Izzy while Cleo is walking away.

"How are you with Ozzy after knowing about this test thing?" asked Jude to Izzy.

"Surprisingly bad, we didn't talk much after yesterday. He sort of shut himself out of the family, I guess his mood just went pewww. He was real quiet" said Izzy motioning explosion from her hands.

"Ozzy is quiet?" asked Cleo who just got back from the counter.

"This morning he didn't eat his burrito" replied Izzy "I wonder if something's wrong"

"Maybe A-Troupe is fighting" said Cleo. "You know, Ozzy not eating mexican foods is very rare."

Studio A
A-Troupe gathered in the middle of the room talking and arguing about the test.

"Let's just do the test guys" said Amy.

"But what about our plan?" asked Ozzy.

"That wasn't a plan dude, we were just thinking about it" answered Kingston.

"But if we qualify for Nationals ourselves, both us and B-Troupe could go. If we do this test, only one of the troupe could go" said Finn.

"Yeah but we don't even know if we can qualify for Nationals, we have to start from scratch and win Regionals." said Piper.
"Not saying we're also under-prepared"

"It's been a busy year for us, don't you wanna relax? We can have some fun, play games, and enter small competitions" suggested Kenzie.

"That's exactly what B-Troupers do. No, Kenzie." said Richelle. "We're A-Troupe, we compete at Absolute competitions."

"If B-Troupe wins we can go to Internationals next year" replied Kenzie.

"IF they wins, what if they don't?" said Heath.

"and even when B-Troupe wins, they won't give up their chance to go to Internationals for us. We'll compete with them for the spot and it will only brings us to this position again" said Summer.

"Summer's right" said Henry "It's not good for the studio if A-Troupe and B-Troupe go against each other every year for a chance to compete at Absolute competitions"

"Let's just focus on the test guys" said Lily.

"Yeah, the thing-y says that our first test is today, well- it says pre-test but I don't know what that means" said Ozzy.

A-Troupers sighed in sync and they scattered across the room.

"That conversation was mentally draining" said Amy to Piper and Richelle.

"I wonder if being a professional dancer was less complicated" said Piper.

"It isn't" said a tall muscular boy walking into Studio A.

"NOAH!!" called the whole A-Troupe.

"OH MY GOD WE'VE MISSED YOU!" said Richelle histerically.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US YOU WERE COMING?" asked Amy.

"I wanted to surprise you- wait Lily's on A-Troupe?" asked Noah confused.

"Mm-hm" nodded A-Troupe.

"Hm, okay" replied Noah with a giggle in the end. A-Troupe laughed together  with their former dance captain.

After a few minutes, Richelle and Noah finally got to talk one on one. They haven't been in contact for a few months because Noah's dance carreer was really going up.

"Look at you, all successful. How's broadway going?" asked Richelle.

"I told you already, it's going great." answered Noah.

"Noah they're gone, you can talk to me"

"It is becoming harder every single day, the rehearsal is just crazy. But I swear it's really going great"

"Great, so any upcoming show I should watch? I haven't seen you perform since Regionals"

"Oh yeah, I just finished a big musical. It's about a love triangle and the storyline is impeccable. I played the best friend of the main character, it's amazing." said Noah. "Uh there's actually an audition coming up for a sequel of the show and I think you'll be the perfect fit for the role of the new character. If you did, you'll play my younger sister and we get to spend so much time together. I really hope you'll consider it"

"Noah, that's amazing. But I don't know if I'm capable of doing that" answered Richelle.

"Richelle, I saw you on Dancemania, you were arguably a promised winner. You can do this, and I know you know." replied Noah.

"I mean to betray the team, I can't do that to my family" said Richelle staring at A-Troupe who were playing red hands and laughing together.

"If being a dancer has taught me anything is don't be stuck in one place. Richelle you're ready to move on, talk to them, they will support you" suggested Noah.

"I know, but I can't. They need me and I need them." replied Richelle, Noah smiled.

"You've changed" said Noah "in a good way. You were a dancezilla, a career maniac, I love this Richelle who can balance both"

Richelle giggled,
"This year has been a very trying time for me and A-Troupe. I left them, I can't leave them again"

"Speaking of trying," said Noah to Richelle, he proceeds to stand up from the bench.

"A-Troupe, your test begins right here, right now."
