Nor once, Nor twice

Nor once, Nor twice,
Has this heart of mine beat for itself.
Nor one, Nor twice,
Has my mind taken turns for the little soul inside.

Nor once, Nor twice,
But every single day of this tiring life,
I have lived for everyone other than the person,
That I refer to it as "I".

I am the only answer,
And I am the only question.
But still am unable...
to find the one and only solution.

How far must I go,
On this endless river called life.
How far must I run,
To really find what is mine.

When will my heart and mind,
Be only mine.
But I am certain that one day,
My hopes will hit high.
And what I truly wish for,
Will certainly be mine.
