🐱 POV
Adrien was looking through his list of photos, which were full of Marinette. He was a stumbling mess around her, but not as Chat Noir.
He's saved her countless times as his alter ego, and acts fine. But really his heart was exploding with happiness every time this happens, even in the worse situations.
There was Ladybug, his partner, as well, but Adrien didn't pay too mind about her, not that he could anyway. He has promised his heart to Marinette once he fell for her.
That was the time he finally believed in love at first sight, because that's what basically happened.

Adrien has his umbrella in hand and was motioning in toward Marinette, so that she would grab it. He shrugged, "I won't need it."
Marinette had looked up at him with a surprised expression. She reached for it and slowly grabbed it. "Uh... thank you."
He had a light pink tint to his cheeks and scratched the back of his neck. "I'm sorry about before. Chlóe is the only friend I have, even if she is an arse."
She had laughed, with her hand to her mouth, which made his heart beat faster. She walked down the steps and waved goodbye to Adrien, leaving him there with a goofy expression. Plagg, his kwami, flew up from his shirt and glanced at him. "Love is a useless thing, how about some cheese?"
He glared at the floating cat, but then rolled his eyes. "Let's go, Natalie is waiting for me."
🐞 POV
Marinette stumbled on her bed, but then sighed with happiness. She glanced at the posters of the masked hero all over her room. "How can a human be so incredible, Tikki?" she hummed at her kwami, which was preparing herself for sleep. She flipped to her side, to see the most attractive picture she had of him, placing her hand on it. "Do you think he'll love me back one day?"
Tikki didn't answer, telling her to go to sleep.
She didn't want to go to sleep, she wanted to keep ranting about a certain cat, so she grabbed her phone and pressed on Alya's contact. "Alya, are you awake? If so, can you keep this lovesick girl awake? ;)"
She had waited for a response from her best friend, but she got nothing after about ten minutes, so she exited the contact and placed her phone next to her. She placed her hands on her forehead and groaned. That's about the time her phone vibrated.
She looked at her phone. It wasn't from Alya, but her other best friend, Adrien. "Alya told me you couldn't sleep, and I wanted to help."
Marinette raised her eyebrow. What was the model doing up at— she glanced at the time at her phone— three in the morning? "What are you doing awake?"
She lifted herself to lean on the wall behind her. She didn't really get to talk to Adrien realistically, because he would always seem scared of her, because he was a stuttering mess. He was very kind though, and they spoke through texts because that was the only way he could communicate, sadly.
"I couldn't sleep." he had finally replied back after a while. "What about you?"
She chuckled before typing out her reply, slowly glancing at her kwami. Adrien wouldn't understand, since he was a civilian. "Me too, but I'm thinking about a boy who probably doesn't know I exist."
She felt a little lonely after he didn't reply after a while. She rubbed her thumbs together as she waited, knowing that he would reply eventually. Her eyes lit up as her phone vibrated. "Who?"
She panicked. She didn't want to tell him yet. It was a stupid crush, and he would ask why she had it.
It's not like she could say "Oh yeah I'm in love with Chat Noir, and the reason for that is because he's my partner and I know him, no biggie."
She tried her best to come up with an excuse. "That's a secret, mister." she giggled at her sass. He didn't know that she had sass, so he probably wasn't expecting that kind of answer.
He didn't reply again, and she just groaned. This dude has issues. "Go to sleep, Marinette. I don't care if it's summer you need rest."
She blinked and rolled her eyes. He was probably going to sleep, as well. They had been talking for a good hour, since of his slow replies. She decided to take his offer, and placed her phone next to her. She placed her head on her pillow, and once she fell asleep— took a good 20 minutes— she dreamt about a certain black cat.
Marinette had woken up pretty late, per usual. She grasped onto her phone and looked at the time— 9:26.A.M. She flopped back on her pillow, face first this time. She remembers the dream she had, and smiled dreamily. She had dreams of Chat Noir on a regular occasion. He was just so perfect, and amazing. And she was just— Marinette. She thought of her stupid crush and knew that he barely knows she exists.
She forced herself up and stretched, and now hearing Tikki waking up. "Morning, Tikki." she said drowsily.
"Morning, Marinette." she also sounded drowsy, but more drowsy than the miraculous holder. Marinette forced herself off her bed and onto her spinning chair, so she could get onto her computer and check the Ladyblog. The kwami flew down next to her. "Good sleep?"
Her bluebell eyes looked at the red cookie-eating creature, before facing back at her computer, scrolling her mouse. "Sort of, what about you, Tikki?" truth was, her sleep wasn't that great. A black cat kept creeping in her mind. When the kwami didn't respond, she faced to look at her again, but she was gone.
She knew why, and now heard a crash above her. Her marble eyes went wide as her trapdoor creaked open. "Marinette, we need to go, now."
It was Chat Noir.
I suck at chapters, lmao. Surprised this only took me 2 days, but here you go!
