I smiled and blushed into my phone.

Someone knocked on the door.

It was my dad.

"Hey dad? Your home from Michigan early. How was it?" I said sitting upright against my bed board.

"It was interesting, I brought you souvenirs!" He said walking over.

He pulled out a little Barbie doll.

"Thank you dad" I said trying to smile.

I barely talk to my dad because of work so I don't think he realizes the concept of I'm 16.

"No problem. It should go well with your doll house" he said smiling.

I threw my doll house away a few years ago. But I didn't wanna tell him anything.

He left.

I woke up and put some lulu lemons on and a sports bra. I sat down at my vanity and undid the braids in my hair making it wavy. I put it back up in a fishtail braid. And grabbed my bag then headed to the dojo.

"Your late" sensei said.

I checked my watch.

"I'm early" I said confused.

"5 minutes early is alway 5 minutes to late" he said.
I nodded my head.

We all sat down on the mat after removing our shoes.

"Hawk, Miguel! Fighting positions" Sensei said.

"Yes sensei!" They both yelled walking up to the mat.

They bowed and then hawk kicked Miguel in the stomach but Miguel pulled him under his legs and swung him over. He punched him in his face once and stood up and bowed.

"Good job Miguel." He said smiling.

I realized there was a bunch of new people here.

"Who wants to try to beat him?" Sensei added.

I raised my hand.

I stepped by Miguel and bowed.

We fought. I punched him in the face and he jabbed me in the stomach. I kicked him once in the abdomen then grabbed his arm and twisted it pushing him down on the Mat. Everyone cheered.

"Nice Adeline" sensei said. After that we practiced with partners and I was with hawk.

"That was hot" he said smiling.

"Oh yeah?" I said blushing.

"Mhm" he said picking me up and pushing me on the ground.

I smiled sweetly. He reached his hand out and pulled me up. After class Me Miguel, a new kid we called assface and hawk walked to the beach.
