After that incident, she needed to think twice before stepping out of her house past midnight. Her usual routine has now become a traumatic experience.

It's been a week since the occurrence, she had slowly gotten out of the shock. Well- a lesson taught I guess?

Thus, Jisung and Saeron had unexpectedly grown closer. Their encounter may only be indicated by brief chats- yet it was considered an improvement. He still is the cold boy she once knew, but small talks won't bother him as much as it did to him.

Saeron slouched on her seat- eyes battling themselves to stay open. Her skull aching from the amount of information she had to contain. The scribbled board was engraved with symbols and digits. She's positive nobody understood anything the woman had told.

Yes, she's smart and all- however her motivation has been fluctuating for the past month. Nonetheless, her personality still stayed the same. It's just ironic how an intelligent student has no courage in learning anymore.

"Math is absolute shit," she muttered- exhaling heavily. Chaeyong- who coincidentally had the same class as her- lazily turned her head towards her seatmate. "I noticed Sae, thankyou" she sarcastically said.

Saeron shrugged, straightening her torso back to its neutral position. The discomfort made her clutch her lower back- wincing in pain. "Dammit, I feel like shit" she groaned.

"What's with you and 'shit' today?" Chaeyong chuckled, but it immediately fell after Saeron slowly turned her head towards her friend. "Uhm- yeah you do look like shit, " she retorted. Saeron punched her arm, earning an 'ow' from her.

Yet she knew her comment was right.

A single ring of the bell made the two jolt out of their seats, way too excited to finally exit the classroom after a good amount of torture. Saeron swung her bag onto her shoulders- causing it to almost hit Chaeyong on the face. She furrowed her brows, switching her expression to an offended one. "Bitch you almost knocked me in the face!"

Saeron looked up at her. "Sorry Chae, I can't stand this bullshit" she gawked- resulting in the other one rolling her eyes, but giggled after. "Ikr, my mom needs to pay me for this, " Chaeyong complained back, causing Saeron to laugh- relating to her silly comments.

The two girls snickered along, walking their way out of class- searching for Taeri.

The hallway appeared to be packed with students, muttering 'excuse-me's as they weaved through them- raking their eyes over the ocean of people in search of their beloved friend.

Saeron kept walking before an arm grabbed her shoulder- yanking her causing her body to spin. Chaeyong lifted her index finger slowly, pointing at something- shocked to witness such a sight. Saeron trailed her eyes to the direction she indicated. Her lips fell agape upon what she saw.
