Monday

(Y/n) woke up to see her sister surrounded by papers sleeping on the couch 'she is working way too hard' , she picked up some papers from the table ,looking at the report papers, her eyes widened as she reads about the new murder .
Miss Ashley
Age:23 years .
Works in stalkmarket.
Was found dead in her basement.
Cause of death: suffocation .
No evidences were found from the crime scene except victim's personal belongings.

(Y/n) spotted a photographs of the crime scene ,she moved forward to study the photographs 'looks like she was strangled' her curiosity got the better of her and she reached to further study her call records 'no suspicious calls' without realizing she was frowning 'there has to be something' she reached to grab the laptop out of her sister's hand as she expected it was the cctv footage of the night, she started watching it focusing for any clue .

"(Y/n)" she didn't realized when her sister was out of her light sleep , "don't you have school?" She stopped the footage to look back to her sister "no I am taking the day off" she said blankly to concentrate back on the screen, "why? " she looked back at naomi
" because this new case is draining your sleep , you are not taking enough sleep and why didn't you told me about this murder?" Naomi thinked for a moment before speaking "well I didn't wanted to wake you up last night and as an FBI agent you know I have to be ready for extra work anytime of the day ,now as much as it is tempting to let you watch the footage and help me with this I don't want you to skip your school" .

"It's just one day now let me focus on this " she shifted her attention back to the screen, her sister sighted getting up naomi got ready to hed to her station, she was frustrated by how little clue she got about this case sighing she hed back to check on (y/n) " any progress yet ?" , (y/n) didn't replied fixing her eyes on the screen . Naomi knew that (y/n) behaved like that when she is thinking hard about something. She sat next to her quietly sorting her reports on the case checking every clue for the 10th time.

(Y/n) finally looked up to her sister "let's get moving now shall we?" Naomi looked at her putting her file in her bag "but you didn't have breakfast yet" ,(y/n) grabbed herself some brownies opening the exit door she  looked at her sister expectantly. Naomi knew that once she has involved herself with a case she forgets about everything else she was frustated and relived at the same time that (y/n) was skipped school and breakfast but took a deep breath knowing that they are gonna reach somewhere with this case now that (y/n) is getting involved in this.

It was quiet normal for (y/n) to head to the FBI office frequently,  infact she had
Solved many cases , those cases which FBI couldn't solve in months she solved them in days, everyone knew her there ,some people even asked naomi to bring (y/n) to office every day because she was a great help but naomi wanted (y/n) to live her life like normal kids her age, go to parties,  hangout with friends but seeing her keen interest in the cases she settled for whatever makes her happy,  (y/n) wasn't her biological sister but she loved her immensely , her parents took her in when she was 13 ever since then she lived with them .

"Hey (y/n)" she nod her head with a smile towards ray,  he gave her a pat on the head , she head straight to the information room. She searched through the shelves 'here it is unsolved Los Angeles murders' she turned diffrent pages noticing all the reports on the previous 8 murders that have been taking place from the last 8 months . 'Just what I taught, I can't keep away from this case no matter what naomi says this time , if this continues the culprit might come for the next victim soon and it could be from FBI, it could be naomi or ray' she head back to the main office, everyone looked at her expectantly.

"Ok so the murder we are dealing with is not a normal murder committed out of personal grudges this is related to the previous 8 murders in Los angels infact I am sure all these murders are committed by a group of people who are working together or maybe a single person." Everyone was shocked and unable to make the relation between the two , naomi was thinking deeply about this "how can you be so sure (y/n) those two took place at entirely different places, infact those two have no link at all" ray said unable to connect the link between that two cases. "That's because you have not yet looked to the slightest details no doubt when a murder as big as this one will take place no one will although if you look at the last victim  that is Mr Dolan we checked his house and office but we couldn't find anything out of order ".

she took out a plastic bag which contained a bunny hair clip " take this clip for general it was found from the room Mr Dolan was dead in and take a look at this "she took out her laptop to show them some pictures " ashley has this hair clip in almost every photo she posted on her social media account, even all the photos her friends posted of her she is wearing the same clip , that is until may 22 she posted a photo without that clip on may 22 which is 3 days after the death of mr Dolan".

Everyone looked at her stunned then another agent broke the silence "but it could be anyone's , maybe you are overthinking about this" she stared at the agent blankly "yes that's absolutely a possibility it could be anyone's,  but that was until I taught what was it doing In the basement not really far than the dead body then I picked it up and asked mr Dolan's wife if it was her's but she denied using any hair clips at all and beside her , her sister lived with them I asked her too  if it was hers and she denied too , then I taught it maybe the case Mr Dolan buyed it for his wife's sister since his wife doesn't uses hair clips then again its wierd also  it wasn't looking like a new clip , it was such a usual object that noone paid attention to it, this wasn't even an evidence until now I took it with me, out of curiosity. Now connecting the murders I think this culprit is leaving some general belonging of his next victim with his previous victims in the previous 2 murder also whose crime scenes I was allowed to visit they also show the same trend the previous victims had the next victims general belonging that is why I told you guys that those murders were committed by same person  but there were other evidences too for their connection so noone paid attention to these small details it's like all this is a game for them, whoever is this person they are challenging someone either FBI or maybe even the whole defense department and so far they have win" (y/n) said everyone's jaw dropped at her deduction. Everyone was stating at (y/n) with wide eyes as if she has done the unbelievable. 

"Astonishing miss (y/n)" she turned around to a computers voice, she looked  at a monitor behind her which had a sign of L "L" she spoke withought realizing , "(y/n) you wont believe L just said what you are saying" her eyes widened at the screen "but I wasn't sure how this murder was related I was 32% suspicious about the link between the two but you just confirmed my suspicions and told me how those are linked together I have to say I am impressed miss (y/n) , I am looking forward to work with you, Mr Robert I have to agree that this is getting out of control and it would be difficult to solve this case communicating through a screen so I am willing to meet 1 of your FBI member who will be our connecting source, tell them to wait at 360 square and one of my man will pick them up from there and do send miss (y/n)  along she can be a great help on this case" . With that the monitor was off leaving the FBI members to look at each other.
