"We should study this case from the start , miss naomi I want you to watch 1 week CCTV footage of the 2 murder and I will be watching the CCTV of 1 murder, (y/n) which case would you follow?" She looked at him "I will too start from 1 murder" .

"Yery well" he got up to walk to the screens and started watching the footage in his crouched position. (Y/n) started to reading the report files. She got so involved in it that she readed nonstop it was what she always liked she didn't realised when the time flew by she was on the 7th murder report 'Isabella'. "(y/n) I am goying to sleep now this is getting us nowhere" she looked up at naomi "ok I will read this, I am not sleepy at all" with that naomi left leaving just L and (y/n) in the room.

(Y/n) finally read all the reports , she checked the clock it was 2 am . She looked at the screen , her eyes widened as she saw L still sitting infront of the computer she looked at the screen to see he was watching the footage of the night of the first murder she got conflicted at the taught of leaving or staying she wanted to watch the footage too she was determined to solve this case, infact it was the first time she was properly involved in a case , all the other times either she was kept away from the cases to ensure her safety or the cases were too easy the she saw the news and named the culprit. She was only allowed to read the solved cases files even In FBI due to security reasons,this was her dream come true but the only problem she has was L .she didn't wanted to be around him.

She got up to go to her room, but eventually turned back 'I shouldn't, but I wanna see what happened that night ' her curiosity got the better of her and she walked towards the screen "can I watch with you?" L looked at her, he just nodded his head , she sat beside him to watch the recording ,she was focused on the screen ,watari came in to give L a plate of cake and some tea "more" he uttered, watari walked away only to return with one more plate of cake and tea .

L took the cake and placed it infront of (y/n) "here" he handed her tea. (Y/n)'s expressions softened.

Flash back
(Y/n) was selling newspapers and 5 penny novels. She looked at a boy who was walking weirdly with an old man she ran to them "sir would you like to buy newspaper I also have some novels?" The old man looked at her "I will buy all your newspapers if you could read it" she shifted nervously she didn't knew how to read properly she had no parents so she lived on the streets since she was just 3 years old ,her brother use to clean for money and she use to sell newspapers ,she never went to school she could barely read which she learned by watch people reading, she needed money ,she hadn't eaten anything all day "y_yes sir I will read" .

The old man walked inside a park along with the boy and the little girl followed behind "stay here and listen to the news I will be back shortly" the man smiled and patted the boy's black messy hair and left ,the boy looked at the girl with black orbs "y_yes" she held the newspaper open "ttt ..t..ter.. atta eng" he stared at her and snatched the paper out of her hand "terrorist attack on England is possible as the tension rises"the girl stared at him gulping "I_i can" the boy handed her the paper and sat on a bench in his crouched position the girl followed him looking through the paper .

Her eyes lit up to see the news which she heard a man reading in the morning she remembered it by heart as it intrested her intensely "5 murders took place in Manchester on 22 may two were shot while 3 were stabbed in the heart" her eyes filled with disgust as she wondered why people kill and destroy everything "the police was informed 3 days later about them missing by the neighbors later on searching the house it was found that they were dead" she looked at the boy as her eyes lit up again, the boy stared at her with his expression less face.

"You don't know how to read ,you learned that?" He asked her , she looked at her feet ."look the weirdo is here again" she looked up to see 2 boys who were staring at the black haired boy with disgust "didn't we told you to not come here? Wierdows like you don't deserve to be here" the boy ignored them looking at the girl, "hey you didn't heard us?" The boy looked towards the ground sitting in his crouched position.
