Mike;

"Aw I'm sorry, Mikey." Tony said before he pulled me into a bone crushing hug. I sighed in his shoulder and hugged him back.

"You don't have to say sorry. It isn't your fault."

Tony slowly pulled away from the hug and looked me in the eyes. "I know this is probably hard for you. But you'll get through it. And then after you get through it, you can try again."

I weakly smiled. "Yeah. Maybe. Just not right now though."

"How's Vic?" He asked.

"It's been kinda hard for him too, but he's alright."

Tony sighed. "I feel so sorry for you guys. This is so sad."

I looked down at my feet. "Yeah. But it's okay."

"I'm gonna go to school. I'll check on you later, okay?"

I nodded. "Okay. Have fun."

After Tony left, Vic came into the room and jumped on the bed beside me.

"Hey." He said in a whisper. I wrapped my arm around him and kissed his nose.

"Hey. You okay?"

He nodded. "Yeah I'm fine. Are you?"

"I'm okay."

He gave me a small smile. "Good. So what are we going to do now?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. I guess we wait until we get over this. And if you want... we can try again."

He smiled and pecked my lips. "You really want to try again?"

"Yeah I suppose. Just give me a few weeks though, okay?"

Vic nodded and pressed his lips against mine.

"How come you didn't go to school?" Mom asked. I sighed.

"I threw up this morning." I lied easily.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine now. Just feeling a little sick."

"Vic didn't go to school either, did he?"

"Nope."

"Well, me and your father have another business trip." She informed, rolling her eyes.

"For how long?"

She sighed. "Three weeks. Do you think you and Vic will be okay here alone?"

I nodded. "Yeah. We'll be fine."

"Hm... are you sure you're okay? You look kinda pale and tired."

I nodded. "Yeah. I'm fine. I'm gonna go lay down. I feel sick again."

"Okay. Me and your father have to leave in the morning." She said as I ran up the stairs. I yelled back an okay and jumped on my bed beside Vic.

"Mom and dad are going on a business trip for three weeks." I told him. He smiled and took my hand, lacing our fingers together.

"So... three weeks alone, hm?"

I nodded. "Yeah."

He grinned and kissed my lips. "Maybe we can try again."

"I-I don't know if I'm ready yet or not." I admitted.

"Why? I thought you wanted to try again."

I sighed. "It's too soon."

"It's never too soon. Come on, Mikey."

"I'll think about it, okay?"

He sighed. "Okay."
