Surprisingly I had been dating Eli, or Hawk for a few months. Yes, I met him before he became Hawk and Yes, I like him before he became his badass self. Yes of course he went through his slightly angry... very angry.. edgy phase, but who doesn't. At least he's confident and not getting bullied anymore.
We were currently hanging out in my backyard, while my parents were away. We had music playing as we sat on the ground watching my dog play in the yard. (If you don't have a dog... you do now. Also you can play the song if you want, because it's the song that was currently playing.)
"Hey. I'm going to teach you some karate." He suddenly said standing up. "Huh.. oh come on.. I don't think I'll be any good." I said nervously. I did a little bit of karate back in the day with my dad and cousins, but I'm not sure if I'm still as good as I was back then. It was so much fun throwing my cousins around.
"Don't worry! I'll be your teacher so you'll be fine." He said confidently making me giggle. "Alright, Teach me well, Sensei." I said making him smile.
"I like that. Sensei..." He said to himself as he looked off into the distance. "Here.. get into this stance." He said showing me what to do. I copied him pretending I knew nothing about karate.
"Like this?" I questioned. "Yeah! See you're a natural!" He said cheerfully.
"Or it's just that your a great teacher." I said with a grin. Gotta boost that ego.
He smirked and stayed in his stance. "Alright, we'll just do some really slow sparring. I promise I'll go easy on you." He said with a smirk. I feel like he just wants to make me look like a fool.
He punched at me really slow and I just blocked making him smile. "Yeah! Just like that!" He said punching at me a few more times slowly. "Now just punch at me." He said as I punched. He blocked quickly as we moved throughout the yard punching and blocking. It started off slow and peaceful, but it got a little competitive.
Time to make my move.
He punched at me, but instead of blocking I grabbed his arm pulling him down to the ground.
I sat on top of him with both his arms pinned the ground. He just stared in surprise unable to form words.
"Woah."
I giggled and stared down at him. "Where did you learn that?!"
"Well... I took just a little bit of karate when I was younger." I said with a sly grin. "Aww You're no funnn! If you told me that sooner we could have gotten more serious." He said with a chuckle.
"I just wanted to try this on you." I said letting go of his arms as I booped his nose. He sat up a little bit and pressed his lips to mine. I kissed back feeling his arms wrap around my waist pulling me closer to him. He sat up all the way, so I was sitting on his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and relaxed into the kiss.
After a minute or two we pulled away and just stared into each other's eyes. "Next time I'm pinning you to the ground first." He said with a smirk making me laugh. "Oh you can try, but I can't promise that'll work out for you." I said with a giggle.
He just stared at me with a sweet smile as I stared back. "BARK BARK!"
My dog ran over clearly jealous and in need of attention. He jumped into us at full speed throwing us both to the ground. (This a big dog. A big fluffy baby.)
"CHIP NO!" I gasped as he laid on my face. Hawk only laughed at me and watched me struggle while Chip happily laid on my face with all his fluff.
