Instead of doing the responsible thing, which at the time was to go to the hospital wing, Eloise found herself skipping the rest of the day to sleep in the comfort of her own bed. In the moment, Eloise didn't realize she could have a very serious head injury, making it very dangerous for her to fall asleep.

"Eloise Cossette!" Juniper's voice rang from the common room. Eloise groaned, pushing her face further into her pillow.

"Why was I just informed you got in the middle of a fight?" Juniper burst through the door, Cleo not far behind. Eloise lifted her head to look at her dorm mates, making Cleo bust out laughing.

"Eloise, you have dried blood all over your face. How did you manage to do this?" Cleo sat down onto Eloise's bed, licking her thumb to rub off the dried blood on her chin.

"Does it matter?" Eloise winced as she talked, gaining a slight lisp from her swollen tongue.

"Here, Look at my wand." Juniper helped Eloise sit up. Lighting her wand, she instructed Eloise to follow it with her eyes.

"I suspect a concussion, We need to get you to the hospital wing." Juniper helped Eloise stand, she grumbled as she put her arms around Juniper and Cleo for support.

"You're a real idiot, you know that? Sleeping when you have a concussion." Cleo laughed, dragging Eloise down the stairs.

"In my defense, I didn't know I had one."

"Oi, fancy seeing you here." Lee smirked, wincing at the pain in his jaw.

"Why the hell would you jump Roger Davies!" Juniper struggled to get the now unconscious Eloise into the hospital wing. Luckily, Fred, George, and Lee were exiting the wing as they rounded the corner.

"He was practically groping Eloise! We couldn't just stand around and do nothing." Fred elbowed George in the side, he has been exceptionally quiet since the incident this morning.

"Well if that was the reason, you have every right to beat his ass. Could we have some help here?" Cleo looked up at the three boys, out of breath from lugging after Eloise.

Eloise was a very small girl, but it was still very difficult to carry her all the way down to the hospital wing.

Without a word, George placed his arms behind her knees and back, carefully bringing Eloise into the hospital wing.

"Madam Promfrey?" George laid Eloise down on the bed, while the healer fussed over the girl.

"Looks like you guys got your ass beat by a Ravenclaw." Cleo laughed, looking over at the Gryffindors swollen faces and knuckles.

Fred let out a humorless laugh, "You should see what we did to Davies."

Juniper gasped, "Even if you were protecting Eloise, You still shouldn't have done that."

"Too late for that now, is it." Lee snorted laughing along with Fred.

"Is she going to be okay?" George's voice startled everyone, immediately silencing their chatter.

"Miss Cossette should have seen me sooner, but she'll be fine." Madam Promfrey mended all of Eloise's injuries, rubbing her shoulder to wake her up.

"Eloise dear? It's Madam Promfrey. You're in the hospital wing, I need you to drink this potion for your head."

Eloise's eyes fluttered up slowly, meeting George's worried hazel eyes. Suddenly alarmed, Eloise sat straight up.

"Hey, It's okay." George frowned down at Eloise, placing a hand on her shoulder, Eloise simply shrugged off his hand, taking the potion from the healer.

George frowned, standing up from the bed.

"It looks like she's still upset with you." Fred gave George a pat on the back.

"If I were you, I would get that lecture with Minerva over with, boys." Madam Promfrey glanced at the three boys, noticing Eloise's behavior towards George.

Groaning, they exited the wing once more, dreading seeing their head of house.

"Merlin." is all the girls could say as Eloise told the girls about the fight.

It was past curfew by the time Madam Promfrey finished with Eloise, so she gave the girls permission to get back to their dorms without any trouble from lingering professors or Prefects.

"So, you're mad at George for pushing you?" Cleo kicked mindlessly at piece of rubble on the stone flooring, walking along side Juniper and Eloise.

Eloise shook her head, a frown on her brow, "Oh course not, that wasn't his fault. The way he handled Roger just reminded me so much of my mother, it frightened me."

Juniper hummed to herself, wrapping a comforting arm around her best friend's shoulder, "I think you should talk to him, He hasn't been himself all evening. And when I say himself, I mean bloody annoying." Juniper laughed to herself, looking at Eloise.

Eloise huffed, leaning onto Juniper, "Maybe, but tonight I just want to sleep forever."
