childe, his name made your blood boil. the anger and hatred you had for him couldn't be put in words. why did you hate him? well let's just say he betrayed you

you were the youngest daughter of an rich family in liyue. since you were young, you were hid from the outside world. your father afraid of the things that might happen to you and your siblings

it was until you turned 19 that you were finally allowed to go outside. you were ecstatic and ran off loosing the guards that were supposed to make sure you wouldn't get lost.

you were so happy that you hadn't realized that it was starting to get dark. the crowds started to disperse and one by one the lights went off. you were scared, scared of what might happen to you

so when you heard several footsteps you ran behind some buildings and hid. you covered your ears and burrowed your head in between your legs

once the footsteps went silent you heard another one. but it was coming a few meters away from you. scared you hugged yourself tighter. that was when a sweet voice rung in your ears

"ah..are you okay?"

slowly looking up you were met by ocean blue eyes with fluffy orange hair.

his face showed genuine concern, or that's what you thought because it was dark. "who are you..?" you asked staring at the man before you

"oh i go by tartaglia but you can call me childe"

that memory of yours always seemed to replay in your head. oh how you wish you never met him, how you wish he'd just drop dead

after that small encounter he had led you back to your home. it was easy really, guards were all over the place and when they saw you they led you home. that night your father had a terrified look on his face when he saw childe. he ushered you to immediately return to your room with your sisters and you didn't know why

you simply shrugged it off and bid childe a goodnight, the smile you gave him was as bright as ever

the next few days you were banned from going outside, but that didn't stop you from sneaking out and looking for the man who had saved you the night before

it was kind of easy to find him, his unique featured made it impossible to miss him. when he saw you he waved and gave you a smile. you swore your heart skipped a beat

the next few months you started getting closer. you had become so head over heels for him. you trusted him so much with every little secret you had

when you had asked your father if you could be together with him he snapped. he yelled at you that you couldn't be with him. that you could get hit just by getting involved with him.

you didn't understand, you were mad at your father for not letting you and that night you snuck out and ran away.

when you made your mind about confronting your father again. what you saw made your heart sink, your home was on fire. people all around were panicking, the guards tried to help the people inside

you were so scared, your whole family lived in that house. your twin sisters were sickly, your father was always cooped up in his office. the maids who always took care of you were all in there

when the fire died down it was reported that your whole family died in the fire. you fell to your knees, wishing it wasn't true. childe held you close patting your back.

but you didn't expect the sudden pain in your lower abdomen. you tried keeping your scream in and looked down to see a dagger straight through you

you stared at childe so heartbroken and in pain. but he looked nothing like the childe you knew, the childe you believed in

he looked so cold staring at you, it made your heart ache so bad.

"ch-childe..?" you fell to your knees clutching your lower abdomen as he took out the blade.
