Yashiro was getting suspicious. She knew that Hanako was hiding something from her. She couldn't help but wonder what's going on with his boyfriend's head.

"Hey, Kou!" She was strolling in the garden and found Kou sitting on the bench

"Senpai, what are you doing here?" His eyes followed his senpai who sat down beside him. Even after 2 years have passed, he still has feelings for her and his heart would ache every time he saw them being sweet to each other.

"I was just wondering what Amane is planning. It's really obvious that he's hiding something" she said

"You've noticed huh?" He chuckled lightly

"Do you know anything?" She asked desperately for answers

"I know everything he's planning but telling you would ruin it" he saw how his senpai pouted and it made him blush

'....cute.....' he thought

"Oi! She's my girlfriend" Hanako wrapped his arms protectively to his girlfriend

"Like hell, I would steal her from you" he said as he rolled his eyes

"You're hiding something from me, don't you?" Yashiro asked while staring at him intently

"I promise to tell you later" he crossed his heart and she couldn't help but giggle at his boyfriend's cuteness

"Sometimes, I wanna scoop my eyes out" Kou said and they all burst laughing

(YESTERDAY)

"So what's your plan, crazy knife?" Mitsuba asked sassily

"I hope it's not too cheesy" Akane said while making a disgusted face

"Why do I have to be involved?" Tsuchigomori asked

"Stop complaining, spider legs" Yako hissed

"We should give her radishes!" Tsukasa suggested happily while laughing

"Don't joke around, tsukasa" Shijima said

"What's so special about tomorrow, anyway?" Kou asked

"Nothing. I just wanted to talk about stuff cause y'know, because of me she stopped attending school and she rarely visits her family" he said

"Damn right it's your fault" Kou smirked

"Kou, stop it" Shijima said

"Any ideas?"

"......"

"Well, senpai likes simple things. Maybe talking at the mansion's rooftop with strawberry filled rice cakes and donuts will do" Kou suggested

"Even though I'm his boyfriend, you know her more than me" he said while sulking

"Dumbass, of course I know her more than you. I met her first remember?" Kou deadpanned

"I'll bake her favourite" Kou said

"Why? Shijima can do it" Hanako replied

"She loves my cooking more than anyone else so stop complaining and get over it"

"I wonder what it'll look like if nene-san ended up together with spiky blonde"

"HA!? SPIKY BLONDE?!" The two of them stopped arguing when Akane glared at them

"I'll just make the donut then" Shijima said

"The rest of you will be assigned to set the fireworks off"

"Easy task" Akane sighed in relief

"FIREWORKS!" Tsukasa jumped happily

"I hope that's enough to make her happy" Amane said

"Trust me. She'll love it" Kou said

(PRESENT)

It was already night and Amane is sweating nervously. Everything was ready and all he needs to do is wait for Yashiro to come out of her room

"Stop pacing back and forth, will ya?" Kou said annoyed

"I can't help it-" he didn't finish his sentence when he saw Yashiro walked out of her room. She finished doing her homework given by Tsuchigomori

"Amane? What's wrong?" She asked while doing a little stretching

"Come with me" he dragged her happily to the rooftop and was met by the cold wind

"Good thing you're wearing my hoodie" he said

"What's this all about?" She asked confused. She saw him sat down on a blanket so she decided to do the same

"Here" he handed her the cake

"WOW! IT'S MY FAVORITE!" She happily exclaimed and started eating

"Kou-kun made this, didn't he?" She asked and he nodded

"How'd you know?" He asked

"His strawberry filled rice cakes are the best, that's why" she happily munch and he chuckled at her cuteness. He started munching his donut as well

"I just wanted to apologise for everything. I ruined your life, your future and career." He started and she tilted her head in confusion

"You can't even go out anymore without having any bodyguards" he continued

"And you can't even see your family and friends like you used to" he placed his donut down and sighed deeply

"It's okay. It's okay because I'm with Amane" she replied while smiling

"Just how stubborn can you be?" He couldn't help but laugh and relax his tensed shoulders

"I never regret meeting you. You made me happier than before" she confessed honestly while looking at the stars

"So do I" fireworks began painting the sky with vibrant colours. It made the sky prettier

"Wow! Just how much have you been preparing?" she said impressed while looking at the fireworks. He looked at her who was enjoying the fireworks booming above the sky. He couldn't help but crack a small smile. It made him warm and contented

"I promise to stay by your side forever"
