I watched them as they walked towards their vehicle. They looked so happy that I could puke. I stared at my boyfriend whose head is resting on my legs.
"Idiot, you're supposed to protect me" I sighed in annoyance
I watched them again as they plastered wide smiles on their faces. I really didn't care when my father died. I never saw him as my dad in the first place anyway. I just decided to attack them because I was jealous. I was jealous that they get to enjoy life and experience happiness.
"I want to be happy too" I grabbed my gun and pointed it to the radish-legged girl
'Do you really think you could get away this easily?'
"If I can't experience happiness neither can you" I pulled the trigger and smirked in success. I dragged my boyfriend's body inside our car and drove away from the scene.
Hanako's POV
We heard the siren getting closer so I motioned my team to start the car. I was really glad that I could get to see this peaceful sight. They were all laughing and joking around. I was glad I met Yashiro. But I guess happiness doesn't last long. In the corner of my eyes, I saw Sumire holding her gun aiming for Yashiro. Before she could even pull the trigger, I ran and hugged Yashiro. I took the bullet for her because she deserves to live and I don't.
Third Person's POV
Everyone froze when they heard a gunshot. They heard a body collapsed and saw their leader's chest bleeding severely.
"Hanako-kun!" Yashiro screamed in horror. She put pressure on his chest to stop the blood from flowing out.
"G-go now before the c-cops arrive" he croaked out
"No! I'm not leaving you!" She refused as her sight got blurry from the tears
"Kou, take g-good care of her" he looked at Kou
"Are you an idiot!? Get up!" Kou shouted in worry amd anger
"We can still save you-"
"There's no t-time and I doubt I'll s-survive" he replied
"Don't say that Amane!" Tsukasa screamed in pain
Despite the situation, everyone knew their leader won't survive. Their tears flowed out especially Yashiro. Shijima and Akane remained calm and started the car.
"Let's go" Kou said
"No! You promised! You promised you'd stay by my side forever!" More tears flowed out of her eyes
"Well, I guess this is the moment that the eclipse will end. Us, sun and moon shall meet again" he said as he cupped her cheeks
"See you later"
1 week later
Yashiro went out to clear her mind. She told them that she wanted to go alone. They were all worried about her but they thought it would be the best so they let her be.
Yashiro rode her bicycle as she listened to some music. It was nighttime and her surroundings calmed her. The swaying of leaves, the cold breeze, the cold night, everything was peaceful for her. They ended up staying in Japan because the police thought that the 7 Wonders no longer exist when they discovered their leader's body. She passed by the bridge they used to hang out with. She stopped and parked her bike. She walked towards the bridge and went up. She leaned on the railings and sighed deeply.
"I guess real life isn't as easy as mangas"
"Your value doesn't decrease just because someone doesn't see your worth. You should be proud of yourself for not giving up"
"Shine like the whole universe is yours
"I believe the pain we're feeling today will start to vanish one day"
She began recalling all her memories with him as tears came out of her eyes. She looked at the train that passed by. The same one from before.
"I promise to stay by your side forever"
"Liar"
"Don't make promises you can't keep"
"Well, I guess this is the moment that the eclipse will end. Us, sun and moon shall meet again"
"Amane, you're such an idiot but I still love you" she giggled a bit
"See you later"
"See you later, Amane" she smiled and went back to their new base
