Survive {Ellie X Male Reader}

California

After a couple months of travelling. Y/N, Ellie, and Joel were in California. Y/N, Ellie, and Joel were at the shore where the sailboat was. Y/N and Joel were out keeping watch while Ellie was inside trying to find where Abby and Lev went. Ellie was looking at notepad and her map.

Ellie: Where did you go from here?

Ellie looks at the notepad again.

Ellie: 2425 Constance.

Ellie looks back at the map as she found where it was.

Ellie: Yeah, that's gotta be it.

Ellie circles it down on the map and she walks out of the sailboat.

Y/N: Find anything?

Ellie: 2425 Constance. It wasn't crossed out on the notepad and basically they never came back so they could still be there.

Joel: Well, then let's go.

Y/N, Ellie, and Joel walked along the shore.

Ellie: Now, how would she get onto the street from down here?

Y/N: How else?

Joel: Climbing.

Ellie: Right... Can you still climb, Joel?

Joel: Okay, just because I'm old?

Ellie: Well, I mean you are.

Joel: You can call me old when you have kids.

Ellie: Okay.

Y/N, Ellie, and Joel climb up and they continued to follow the trail.

Ellie: So, what are we going to do if we find Abby?

Joel: It's Y/N's choice.

Ellie: Y/N?

Y/N: I don't know. I'm still thinking.

They then come across stairs and so they followed it as it led them to a wooden railing.

Y/N: Here, I'll boost you two up.

Y/N gives Ellie a boost and she pulls herself up. Then Y/N boosts Joel up as Ellie helps pull him up. Y/N then jumps as he grabs onto Ellie and Joel's hands and they pull him up together.

Y/N: Joel, did you gain some weight?

Joel: I gained a few pounds.

Y/N: No wonder. I had a little trouble boosting you.

Joel: Are you two getting at me because of my age?

Y/N: No, I'm serious.

Joel: Let's just keep going.

Y/N, Ellie, and Joel walk up the stairs. They then come across a gate but they simply climb over it and they drop down on the other side. Ellie takes out her map and she looks at the sign.

Ellie: Mesa Bluff. So, we're here and Santa Barbara proper is... that way.

Ellie points in the direction to her left.

Y/N: Okay.

Y/N, Ellie, and Joel walk down the hallway. But thankfully there was no one sign of infected. Ellie then sees a mansion.

Ellie: We could cut through that mansion.

Joel then sees a clicker walking around on the roof.

Joel: Infected are inside, we'll have to be careful.

Y/N: Let's climb onto the roof then.

Y/N, Ellie, and Joel crawl through the hole at the side of the wall. Y/N, Ellie, and Joel climb on top of the car and they climb onto the roof. Y/N takes his knife out and he grabs the clicker and he stabs the clicker in the head.
