Jabrea
Today's the day I graduateeeee. I'm so excited and ready to get the hell away from this school whew thank the lord.
There was a knock at my door then Laila and Tay walked in
"We freeeee" Laila said
"Free at last, free at last, thank god almighty we free at last" Tay said and started dancing
"Y'all are dumb" I laughed
"Come on let's go do we can get this over with" Laila said
We left the house and headed to school. I got out and headed inside towards the gym where everyone else was
"Whew child it's hot like the devil ass in here" Tay said and started fanning himself
"Bitch what" Laila laughed
"Yo cap on wrong Tay" I told him
"Oh shit" he said and started fixing it
"All right ladies and gentleman let's get started" The principal said
Everybody settled down as the teachers started calling names to go on stage and people cheered
"Jabrea Stevenson" I heard my name and got up walking to the stage
I shook everyone's hand then grabbed my diploma and smiled for a picture. I saw Khalil, Laila, my momma and everybody else in the front row cheering loud as hell
I walked off the stage and back to my seat waiting until the ceremony was over
After taking pictures and saying my goodbyes. I went outside and met up with everybody as they congratulated me
"I'm hungry" Laila said
"Yo ass always hungry" Tre said
"Shut up bitch"
"Hey mama, I'm so proud of you" Khalil said and hugged me
"Thank youuuuu" I said
"Where you wanna eat at" he asked
"Chili's"
"Alright come on" he said
We all got in the car and left my school heading to the restaurant
When we walked in they sat us at a table and I ordered chicken tenders with fries
"You look good" Khalil said to me
"Thank you" I smiled
We finished eating and I ordered chocolate cake for dessert
Khalil's phone started ringing and he walked away to answer it
When he came back he looked stressed
"What's wrong?" I asked as he sat down
"I gotta handle something" he said
"Oh well then okay" I said
"I'm sorry I promise I'll make it up to you" he said
"It's fine go" I said
He got us and left leaving me with Laila, Tre and Tay
I laid my head on Laila's shoulder
"You ok?" She asked
"Yea I'm fine, are y'all ready to go"
"Wait I wanna make a toast" Tay said and held up his glass
"Oh lord" Laila said
We all held up our glasses and Tay cleared his throat
"I just wanna say I'm thankful for you all and I love you hoes so much I'm proud of the both you"
"So with that being said drink up bitches we made it" Tay said
We all said cheers then finished our drinks and paid
I can't believe it I'm actually done with high school and now it's time for a new chapter.
