"I get off in the morning, Since I didn't take that shift from last night"

She walked out the door and I went back in my room and laid out on my bed getting a FaceTime call
"what can I do for you today?" I asked as my bestfriend appeared on the screen
"i'm outside" Laila said
"What are we doing?"
"We can go over to Tre house everybody over there"
"Say less" I said walking out the front door and locking it behind me
"hi bestieeeee" she said once I stepped foot in the car
"hiiii I missed you, how is FootLocker treating your mean self" I shut the door and she backed out the driveway
"Not even gone cap I quit after my first week"
"You can't be serious" I looked at her in disbelief

"You still can't keep a job worth shit" I said shrugging

About 15 minutes later we pulled up to Tre house, This is usually we're we all hanged out. Me and Laila met Tay Junior year but it wasn't until we were seniors when we met Tre and Khalil
They are both 19 so they aren't in high school
We got out the car walking up to the front porch
"You gone catch a yeast infection" Tre said making a disgusting face looking at Laila shorts
"Boy kiss my ass, they not even that short"
"Nah I'm good I ain't trynna catch nothing"
"I typed the hell not the well!" Tay angrily threw his phone on the concrete
It was now shattered in pieces and they were acting as if that didn't just happen
Laila and I looked at each other not knowing if we keep standing here or go home
"Damn man now I gotta get a new phone" Tay sighed
"All you had to do was turn yo auto correct off if it bothered you that much" Tre said in a duh tone
"Fuck you" he said
"I just wanted to buy a dime please" Laila said
"Huh?" They both looked her crazy
"A Dime" she said rolling her eyes
"Please give her a gram and get her retarded ass away from me" Tre spoke shaking his head.
"Damn you that slow" Tay asked looking at Laila before handing her the weed
"Well excuse me drug dealers, for not knowing the correct term for some weed"

"Aye somebody still gotta make that drop" Tre said before looking at his phone
"Just have Khalil do it, matter fact Brea can go with him" Tay said pointing at me
"Uh Brea can't do a damn thing" I told him

Khalil didn't actually scare me but he's always mugging someone and most of the time when he's speaking it's comes off as rude or nonchalant
He doesn't socialize with people a lot and he is calm from what i've seen
"Ain't nobody scared of him" I rolled my eyes
"Well go over there if you not scared" Tre said
"Mhm" Tay eyed me
I looked away and put my attention on Khalil who was sitting on his car looking down at his phone. I sighed before walking off the porch and over to him
"Child go!" Tay yelled
"Fuck you" I threw up my middle finger
Khalil looked at me as I approached him
I stood there waiting for him to say something which he didn't so i just got in the car
"Soooo where are we going?" I asked when he got in the car and started pulling out the driveway
He stared at me and whew chile this man is fine as hell
