We got back pretty much all of our day because of the time change. It was only about 2pm in Manhattan, which is where the port key took us.

We spent the rest of the day traveling to get to my grandparents.

"You were right y/n, America is different yet also the same." Ron says to me

"Oh Ronald," I sigh, "you haven't even seen the half of it."

Once we got to my grandparents we were greeted by my father, who I'm guessing is living back home.

"Y/n! It's so great to see you!" He says taking me in for a big hug. He looks at Ron "oh, uh, you're mother didn't tell me you were bringing HIM." He says aggressively.

My grandma walks out behind him, "yes she did,Jeff, you just weren't listening."

"y/n dear it's so great to see you!" She hugs me. "And you must be Ron, I'm Pam, but you can call me gran."

She brings him in for a hug, this is why I love gran, she's so welcome to everyone.

We walk inside to see grandpa sitting at the table eating gran's famous lasagna.

"Rob, I told you not to touch the lasagna, it was for the kids!" Gran snaps,

"Oops," Grandpa says with sass. "Hello y/n" he says getting up to hug me. He acknowledges Ron.

"I'm Rob, you can call me... Rob, or Sir." He says shaking Ron's hand and looking straight into his eyes.

"Ron Weasley sir," Ron responds.

Grandpa hugs me again, but just to whisper, "I like this guy, I don't know what your dad was saying."

"I think he messed him up with George, Rileys boyfriend." I respond.

"Rileys dating a ginger wizard too??" He yells, "I mean I knew you guys had similar tastes but really?" At this point I don't think he cares if Ron hears.

"Yes grandpa, but not exactly a like because George is a twin and I could've gone for him but I didn't." I giggle.

"Well darling, if you ever need a rebound you always have him." Grandpa laughs. He turns to Ron, "you better make sure she never needs a rebound you hear me boy?!"

"Yes sir," he responds.

Grandpa turns around to look at gran and mouths "I like this guy!"

Gran rolls her eyes and says "your things arrived this morning, they're up in your room, come on I'll show you," we head up the stairs with Gran.

"You know I still don't understand this whole magic thing, this morning I woke up and poof! Your luggage was just in the middle of the kitchen! You know if you can poof it into the kitchen why not just poof it into your room?"

"Sorry Gran, maybe next time I'll try and poof it into the room." Ron laughs.

"Here's where you'll be staying," Gran says. "Now I heard before you two were together you shared a room, will I be able to trust you to share a room now that you two are together?"

"Yes ma'am, no shenanigans," Ron replies sternly.

"Wonderful!" Gran replies, "Now I'll leave you to your unpacking, I hope you guys enjoy your stay." She smiles and walks out of the room.

Ron pulls out his wand to speed up the unpacking process.

"NO!" I yell, "You are not old enough to use magic in the muggle world!" I explain.

"Right, sorry," he responds disappointed.

We begin unpacking for the week when we hear ruckus downstairs.

"I do not like the idea of those two sharing a room! They're both too attractive to not do it!" Grandpa yells.

Ron looks at me and chuckles, "He's bisexual, since we were little he's been saying that he's allowed to compliment both genders." I explain to Ron.

"Oh makes sense," Ron says still laughing.

"Come on dad they've slept in the same room before it's no big deal!" Dad responds.

"And they promised me no funny business" Gran adds.

We hear stomping up the stairs. I look over to the door and see Grandpa standing there.

"No hanky panky!" Grandpa says shaking his index finger at us.

"Yes sir," Ron answers quickly.

"Of course," I add.

"Good!" He says, running out of the room. "Okay! I trust them!" I hear as he sprints down the stairs.

Ron and I laugh, "well I guess that means there's no hanky panky until we get home" he says.

"Ummmm I don't know," I respond "Chloe lives alone in a huge house sooooooo.."

We get closer and closer to each other until his hands are on my hips and my arms around his neck.

"I'm so in love with you," he says.

Before I can get a word out he puts his hand on my back and dipping me and kissing me. Honestly, that was the best kiss I'd ever had.

It didn't last very long though since no one closed the door, my dad saw.

"Hey! GET A ROOM!" He yells obnoxiously. He laughs and walks away.

We decided it would be best to just pack for a while. So we did so.

We spent the rest of the day walking around town. I explained that since this was the town my grandparents lived in when I was little I knew it but not very well.

I told him how a broke my arm jumping off a swing with my grandpa when I was about 7. And how it was so broken that I had to have surgery and stay over night.

Everyone in the wizarding world was so confused when I showed up the next week with a cast on my arm since pretty much everyone there fixes everything with magic.

We stopped at my favorite coffee shop in town, I showed him the table that still has my name on it from when Gran and I used to come here on Sunday mornings before church.

"You know the more and more I'm here I realize how different the wizarding world is from the muggle world, and how different England is from America. I understand why you were so overwhelmed when we went on our first date, it was all new." Ron explained.

"Exactly," I reply.

After walking around for a while we spent the night watching movies and eating ice cream with gran. I've always had a strong relationship with Gran, and I have a feeling she really likes Ron.
