"I-I...Was just going to say that if you guys are hungry, mom made some snacks in the kitchen..."
Rue's eyes were wide, staring up at Locus who loomed over him in the doorway.
"How much of that did you happen to hear?" Locus questioned, his voice low, and almost threatening.
He watched as the younger male gulped, eyes glancing behind him towards Felix. "N-not much I swear! I-I-"
"Rue, he's not going to do anything, no need to be so nervous." Felix huffed, pushing past him to place his hands on Rue's shoulders, "See? I just pushed him and he did nothing. He can't do anything."
"What makes you so sure of that?"
Felix turned to eye him, "Because I would hope you know when to show respect when in someone else's fucking house. Unless you're just a fucking animal, hm?"
Even if it wasn't the same Felix he had known, he was still as infuriating as always.
"Shut up." He muttered, returning Felix's earlier shove with one of his own, as he made his way to the front door.
"Y'know, there's no need to be such a fucking douchebag. You're a fucking person, not some fucking hard-ass armor."
"That's funny, coming from you of all people." He responded before he opened the door, and walked out.
He would have to contact Callahan later to fix his payments, and then he'll get himself and A'rynasea off of Chamber, and away from Chorus. He shouldn't have even come here, to begin with. He should have left as soon as he caught sight of Felix but no, he couldn't help but stay around him for just a moment longer. He was going to leave this time, he was going to. He got what he came for, so he had no other reason to stay.
---
He could list off several things he didn't expect to see when he arrived back at A'rynasea, and one of them being Felix, leaning against the booth beside the protective gates to prevent ships from being stolen with a bag over his shoulder.
He had left the house not even half an hour ago, yet he was there before him? Sure, he had taken a little bit of a detour when it came to directions and getting a thing or two to try and make his travel worth it, but even then, there was no way for Felix to have gotten there before him.
"What are you doing?"
Felix looked up from his phone, almost grimacing at the sight of Locus despite him knowing that it was his idea to come.
"Listen, I thought about what you said about me, and if you're leaving, I'm coming with."
Locus tilted his head a bit, looking for some sign of a joke. "No."
Felix scoffed, "No? Why the fuck not? Look, if it's about what I said I'm sorry, okay? But how would you feel if someone told you that you were a fucking psycho murderer? Or continuously called you by the name you used to go by while being that psycho murderer? It's not fucking fun."
"My answer is still a no." He sighed, shifting the bag he held over his back. He had to get one to carry all the things he had, including Felix's armor. It made things easier for him and even gave him a free hand.
"Why?" He asked, stepping closer to Locus, brows furrowed and an annoyed look on his face.
"How did you even get here before me?"
"I've been here longer than you, I know this fucking place like the back of my hand, every little nook and cranny." Felix then crossed his arms, looking up at Locus expectantly, "Now answer the damn question."
