A few hours had passed since they had first arrived at Elysium, most of their time being wasted on Felix trying to find clothes for Locus.

"Leave it for you to be too goddamn big for most of the men's sizes they have. Do me a favor, lose a little muscle? Just the tiniest bit? Thanks." Felix huffed, putting back the three shirts in his arms.

"I told you we didn't have to do this." Locus reminded, causing Felix to roll his eyes.

"And what, have you walk around in just fucking armor?" Felix shook his head, skimming through the racks, "For someone who doesn't like attention, that sure is the number one way to get it."

Locus frowned at the fact that Felix was even the slightest bit right, crossing his arms over his chest as Felix then presented him with more clothing.

"Try these, and if these still don't fit then we're just picking a few, and I'm gonna have to fucking fix them up as best I can." Felix watched as Locus simply took the clothes and disappeared behind the dressing room doors.

He glanced around. There weren't many nearby, probably because they had an easier time of finding clothes they knew fit them, and didn't have to go through the pain in the ass process of fitting on clothes only to fit on more.

"Only one of these fits."

Felix snapped out of his thoughts to look towards Locus. Leave it to the plain ass green t-shirt to be the one that fit among the other options.

"Well, we'll take that one then, get you a jacket or something, and head out." They had already previously picked out a few pairs of pants for him and a pair of shoes, which, those trips were much easier.

The temptation to make a snarky reply was there, but to make things easier for the both of them, he decided against it, going back into the room to get the other shirts and change out of the one he had on.

Felix tapped his foot gently before huffing. He tapped his knuckle against the door, "Hey, I'll be upfront picking a jacket out for you, just put the clothes that didn't fit back and meet me there."

There was no response, but he knew well enough Locus had heard him.

Slowly making his way to the front, Felix glanced around at the other clothing options around him. Sure, they were there for Locus, but that didn't mean he couldn't indulge in himself a little, right?

He shook his head, he needed to stay focused. Right now, he needed to get Locus a jacket, that was it. Something that would keep him warm enough if it were to ever get chilly outside, or something he could put his hands in the pockets of when they got too tired.

Once he found himself where the hoodies and jackets were held, he started his search for one that would fit Locus. Thankfully enough, oversized things were a bit of a universal agreement, so finding something that would fit Locus was easy enough. Now he had just needed something that Locus would like to wear. Though Locus was a mostly 'I don't care' kind of guy, Felix still wanted to find something that he wasn't just contempt with wearing, but something that he would actively want to wear.

Since when were men's jackets so goddamn boring looking? Most of the selections were just plain black, grey, or white. Locus already had a plain green shirt, so he should get a more cool looking jacket, but the shop didn't want to seem to agree with him. Then, he saw it. A white jacket, but upon the back was a large, black panther with threatening green eyes. It was perfect and in Locus's size.

He took the hoodie from the shelf, running his thumb over the fabric. It was definitely going to do its job in the warmth compartment.

Holding the jacket out in front of him, one last time just to admire his find, Felix found himself grinning before he folding it back up. He turned, seeing as Locus hadn't been there yet, but just as he did, he ended up practically chest-bumping the same man he was just about to go look for.

"S-Sam!" Felix yelped, backing up with a slight huff, "You scared the shit out of me!"

Locus looked down at him for a moment, or at least, where he was just a moment ago when Felix bumped into him, before looking back to him. "Sorry..."

Felix rolled his eyes a bit before pushing the jacket into Locus's chest. "Here, I managed to find something. Let's go pay for this shit and do whatever else you had planned to do here."

He didn't wait for Locus to give him an opinion on the jacket, making a bee-line towards the register as the other slowly followed from behind.

---

They had gotten much more than Locus had expected them to. In fact, enough things that they had to store two of the bags in the bedroom to keep enough space in the walkways of the ship.

He would have to make a mental note to not let Felix take control of their trips again, but since Locus now had clothes, he doubted that there was anything else that Felix would feel the need have to get to that point. Hopefully, he was subdued for now.

"So, are we heading out now, or are we at least staying the night on this planet?"

Locus glanced over to the other, who took it upon himself to lay himself back against the comfort of the bed. It would be so easy to just walk over and clim- he cleared his thoughts.

"We'll stay the night. In the morning we'll grab breakfast and set ourselves up for another course, though, we have enough food that we wouldn't need another trip to a planet for a week or two." Locus said simply, removing his suit's gloves and setting them aside. His eyes wandered over to the bag containing his new set of clothing. He wasn't given a chance to speak back in the shop, but he had to admit, Felix did rather well in picking things out for him, though, the jacket was certainly a new vibe for him to wear around.

"Mmmm, I'll pay for breakfast tomorrow since you paid for the meals today."

"You don't have to. Out of the both of us, I have the most money. Plus, you spent enough on me today."

He could practically hear the frown on the other's face, a part of him even expected him to start whining, but he hadn't. "Fine fine, but I buy next time."

"We'll see when the time comes." Was all he could respond as he stripped himself of his armor to put himself into his night-time clothing.

"Way to sound fucking cryptic." Felix joked, letting a yawn slip past his lips as he turned to his side of the bed.

Locus wondered if he was even the slightest aware of how tangled up they were that morning, or how useless the sides had proven to be as he climbed into the bed, to his side of it.

Just then, the lights had shut off, signaling their time to sleep.

"Night, Sam."

"Goodnight."
