...but it's Deadpool

Tony's POV

Peter's been acting weird lately. Well weirder than normal. Christmas is right around the corner though so maybe he's just trying to hide what he got us. I mean he's never very good at it. My thoughts continued to go crazy, until Pepper made me come to our daily avengers meal. Today it was dinner. Everyone, other than me obviously, was already there. Wait.  I did a quick head count again and realized Peter was missing.

"Hey guys, where's Peter?"

"I thought he was with you." Bruce stated nervously. He was just as attached to the kid as I was

"That's what we thought to." Steve and Bucky were holding hands discreetly, or so they thought, under the table. I shoved down my inner fan girl. Find Peter now freak out over Stucky later.

"He's hanging out with his friend Wade all day today." Of course Nat knew where he was.

"Wade, I've never heard him talk about a Wade before."

"Apparently it's someone he met while spider manning."

"First of all its not spider manning and second of all Wade is just a guy I met who I happen to really enjoy hanging out with. Sorry I didn't get a chance to tell you earlier." We all turned and saw Peter. I smiled being glad he finally was home.

"Hallelujah now we can eat."

"Shut up Pietro"

"Yeah shut up frate"

"Steve Wanda's bullying me again"

"Guys be nice"

"Oh my gosh guys shut up so we can eat. I didn't get a chance to eat much for lunch since Wade and I were busy." Thank goodness for Peter and his enhanced metabolism. We quickly dished out food and then what he said hit me again.

"What were you guys doing?"

"Hanging out"

"Yeah, but what. Usually when you hang out with a friend you come home and tell us every little thing you guys did. Unless, oh my gosh Peter please tell me..."

"Oh no no no no. It's not like that. I already have a girlfriend remember." This caused Steve to spit out his water, Wanda to get that dangerous red glow in her eyes, and basically everyone to freak out. Well other than Nat and Pepper. As his mother figures they already knew.

"Yeah yeah get over it, her name is Mj and she could give Nat here a run for her money. Well not in fighting but in most other things. Now please continue Peter."

"I was done. We're just friends. And we were hanging out."

"Ok." Dinner finished without any more mention of Wade. And the rest of the night continued the same way. 

The next day arrived and Peter was again hanging out with Wade, but this time Nat was nervous. She wouldn't tell anybody why. When Peter was gone she told us all to suit up, again with no explanation. Nat was scary though, so we all listened.

"Ok Nat we're all ready to go. Should I call Peter?"

"No your good Wanda." She started walking out to the hanger, but Steve grabbed her.

"Nat what's wrong, where are we going, and why shouldn't we call Peter he's a part of this team to?"

"Your not gonna come unless I tell you aren't you?" We all nodded. "Fine. Peter's hanging out with Deadpool. I mean seriously, his reluctance to tell us anything, the name Wade. It was pretty obvious."

We all stared at her shocked, but immediately followed we weren't letting Peter get hurt.

We snuck into the building and surrounded the room Peter and Deadpool were in. We all inched closer, until we heard Christmas music. I froze, and everybody else did too. Then we heard Peter speak.

"Ok Wade, one more time from the top."

We all bust in and saw Peter and Wade in the middle of a dance routine. They froze, and turned to us with guilty looks.

"Mr. Stark I can explain. I met Wade one day, and he was dancing. It was awful though. So I offered to help him learn if he'd do the routine with me at our annual talent show next time we have it. I mean I don't want to get thrashed by the girls again."

"Kid kid kid it's ok. But now I want to see this please do it again."

They did the routine for all of us again. Then Natasha joined in, she was always amazing at dancing. Eventually we were all doing it with a partner. 

"Here's an idea, for the next talent show we have a group number and this is it. Then we can do our own things to." Everyone agreed and so, next year, the crowd turn out was even bigger and the avengers were all dancing to Christmas music in September,
