The Diner

Westbridge High won, as expected but nobody was ecstatic. We won by one point...one point. That stupid new boy, wasn't so stupid. he was majestic on the field. One of the few people who could keep up with Levi. Since we still won the guys on the team wanted to go to Papa Louise's. It's a pretty chill hangout spot with the best pizza you could ever imagine. Our school owned a school bus, so we asked the coach of the football team to drive us and he did. as we're walking in, the boys now in basketball shorts and tee's girls still in our cheer uniform we find ourselves pushing tables together to seat all of us. Everyone's quiet. "Hey at least you still won, right?" I said while playing with Levi's hair. "I mean yea, but clearly I can't get too comfortable.. "  He said in a mono tone looking at the menu. "Maybe you guys should try scouting him.." Sasha said quietly. "You know that's not too shabby.. I'm actually going to look into that, we could use a player like that! Great thinking Sash!" Coach Henderson exclaimed. All the players on the team seemed to be sceptical but the only person to actually detest the idea was of course, Levi.  Scouting him would mean that Levi. isn't the best, and when it came to college scouts, he would actually have to fight for it. "uh no, we don't need that lowlife lowering our school's average." "what was that Ackerman?" "Having him play for us could ruin our schools reputation-" "what's that supposed to mean?" A husky voice cut in. Everyone looked over and there he was.. the boy- no the man from the field. His appearance was far from a boy. "Eh what's your name son, you did great out there!" he scanned the whole table and while making eye contact with me he says "Eren." I felt a slight grab on my thigh and look over to Levi shooting daggers at Eren for looking at me. I look across the table over at Annie and Sasha and see them snickering. ugh I'm not gonna hear the end of this.  I roll my eyes and get back to looking at the menu. Coach says " hey whatdoyasay, after this meal you and I have a talk about that team you're playing for huh?" Eren nods his head and sighs the words "what can I get for you guys?" everyone around the table places their order. It's Annie's turn and in the most obnoxious voice she asks "do you have a girlfriendd?" Sasha snickers and says "have you ever been to jail? you look all tough" all the girls on the cheer team laugh. "you guys stop. " I snap at them.  What is the purpose of this? I love these girls but sometimes they act like children. "they'll have a medium cheese pizza and I'll have a chicken Parmesan, all sprites to drink. Oh with straws and lemons in the cup to please." I look up at him and he smiles faintly while biting the side of his bottom lip a tad. "Of course.." He says while not breaking eye contact. "and for your brother?" It was more than clear me and Levi weren't related but it was funny. I accidentally shot out a snort while everyone remained quiet. I looked over at Levi and oh man, if looks could kill. "are you actually getting paid to work here or is this apart of your community service.. ya know, sentenced by the judge." Levi said pulling my chair closer to him while everyone laughed. I just kept my eyes on the menu.  It wasn't that funny.. Levi says "I'll have whatever the help recommends" while smiling at him. Eren's jaw clenches, and he continues taking everyones order. Everyone seems to be receiving their drinks and food except me and Levi. Then walking towards us I see Eren. As he approaches our table he smiles with me kneeling down to my face level to place my drink on the table whispering "and saved the most beautiful for last.." I acted like I didn't hear but I couldn't help my body from reacting. His breath smelt like honey whereas his cologne smelt like spice. His voice sounding like he had a long day and was ready to go to sleep, his words barley escaping his mouth. He was indeed captivating. How could someone be so dark and cold, yet welcoming at the same time.. All of a sudden I felt a sudden wetness pierce my thigh. "LEVI!" Coach yelled. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU BOY!" I seemed to be slapped back into reality when I realized my drink had been knocked over. Levi had pushed my drink over on purpose drenching Levi in sprite...along with me. "What the hell?" " Sorry to interrupt your flirting but I thought I saw a hair in my food." Levi said glaring at me. I had no time to deal with this. "Grow up." I shot up and went to the bathroom Eren stayed back cleaning the  table. As I'm in the bathroom I hear someone walk in. I had my leg propped up on the counter underneath the dryer, I tried to remove most of the stickiness but in all honesty I just needed a shower. I look over my shoulder and it's Eren. "um I think you're in the wrong bathroom kiddo.." he smiled "I believe this is the family washroom, and the door said vacant, sorry I'll go-" "NO- I mean erm.. no.. its ok I'm almost done here."  He goes in the stall and grabs toilet paper then walks over to me, he wets it a bit in  the sink and says "here" He places the cold wet piece of toilet paper on my bar thigh and I flinch. "HEY, uh thanks b-but.." I trailed off. He was whipping the sticky area while remaining eye contact with me. "it's my fault anyways I was flirting.. I didn't mean to get you in trouble with your boy toy."  I break eye contact with him while noticing he's making faint circles on my leg, I put my hand on top of his to stop him. "thanks I think I'm good now.. " He looked from my hand to my eyes then licked his lips slightly. "right." I felt my breath hitch in throat. I don't  know why I felt the urge to feel his lips on mine. pull him close and feel his broad shoulders, while he feels on me. WAIT PAUSE WTF AM I THINKING I GOT A WHOLE BOYFRIEND. I quickly jumped off the counter "yea thanks I'll uh.. see you around!" and rushed out of there. I sat back at the table, Levi gave me the silent treatment the whole time. But I didn't care, I was too busy eating and looking at the spot where his fingers could've been if it wasn't for the damned toilet paper in the way. We all kind of sat in an awkward silence really. Annie and Sasha even refrained from making any jokes to lighten the mood, which wasn't like them. I didn't see Eren for the rest of the evening, which I guess was a good thing. I don't even know why I wanted to see him. I guess I was just intrigued by his dominant nature.  We finished our school, went back on the school bus, and made our way back to the school where we would then go home. "Did you want a ride?" Levi asked. "No." I kept it short and cute. Not even because I was mad anymore but more so because I've never ever even THOUGHT about cheating before, so the fact I was close, kind of scared me. ALSO let's not forget he was being a whole dickhead.  "Hey (y/n) you coming girlie?" asked Sasha.  "yea hold on! well, that's me.. I'll see you tomorrow?" "alright babe, bye" He kisses my forehead and gets in the car and drives away.  I walk over to sit in my spot so Sasha can drive Annie and I home. "so are we gonna talk about why you took so long in the bathroom or..." Chloe said. "you know how sticky sprite is? I hate feeling dirty come on girl." Sasha laughed. "mhm" Annie said while rolling her eyes and turning up the music.  I arrived home, showered and went to bed. 

-the next day-

"Hey baby! Over here!" Levi motions for me to go over to him and his boys in a group near the entrance. I follow. "hey" I side smile and give him a hug. "guess who has the place to himself tonight.." He whispers in my ear. "haha you I'm gonna assume?"  He smiled. "So.. You coming?"  His voice trails off as I see an all to familiar face  wearing my schools uniform. "What are you doin' here?" Levi's voice strong and aggressive cut off my thought process. "Eren?"
