p.o.v. (Y/n)

Three weeks have passed since the holidays started and today would be the day I would be visiting Tim at his family's Hippogriff farm. I arrived there at 11 a.m. at the train station. From there Tim picked me up and we walked to a bus station.

"So (Y/n) how have your holidays been so far?" Tim asked me "Quite alright a bit boring but I am really excited to attend Hogwarts again" I answered his question with an excitedly grin.

"And how were yours?" I asked Tim now. "Yeah kind of the same to be honest"

"Here we are" Tim said to me. We reached the farm and I couldn't take my eyes from it. It was really big with a large pasture, a lot of Hippogriffs and a big white farmhouse. We entered the pasture and my eyes widened and my mouth was agape at the scenery of this. I probably looked like Sarah whenever she gets to meet new people.

"This looks absolutely astonishing" I called out to Tim. "Yeah I know" Tim answered grinning wideley and after that he whistled in a melidious tone. A Hippogriff flew towards the both of us and squawked towards Tim. "Hey there Stormfeather" Tim greeted the Hippogriff while petting it. "Now come (Y/n) I want you to meet my mother"

We arrived at the farmhouse and walked into the living room and I saw a woman standing there reading a book. She had medium long brown curled hair, was rather on the short side, had green eyes and glasses. "Mum this is my friend (Y/n) who I told you about" Tim said to his mother introducing me.

"Ah I finally get to meet the best friend of my son. It's a pleasure to meet you I am Marie" She sticks out her hand while having a nice smile resting on her face. "I am (Y/n) (L/n). It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Davies" I introduced myself while introducing myself. "Please don't be so formal or else I'm gonna feel like an old lady" She laughed. "Now Tim darling? Would you mind going upstairs with me? I need to talk with you"

"Why don't you go and meet my dad he is in the garage and inventing something probably. I have to talk something with my mum upstairs for the next school year" Tim told me and while I was nervous at first he remembered me about our meeting. "Remember our first meeting? You started the conversation and met your best friends. Just to warn you. My dad can be quite a strange character. So keep your head up"

"Now go ahead and meet him I have to talk with my mum" He said pointing me towards the door where I should go through to get to the garage. And I did so and saw a man working at the other and of the garage on something.

"Ehm hello?" I asked the man who was clearly concentrated on his work. He had short black hair browen eyes and glasses. "Go away. Can't you see I'm busy" He told me in a rude tone.

"Tim told me I should meet his dad so here I am but I can return later it's alright" "Tim told you you should meet me?" He asked me turning around and changing his character almost 180 degrees. "Oh I forgot about it. Was it really today? I feel really sorry if I have come across as rude. It's just my working schedule is making me a bit frustrated you know?"

"No it's fine really. I know what you talk about. Sometimes everything seemes like a drag." I answered at him compassionately. "Tim wasn't wrong about you being very empathical and smart you know. He told me lots of great things about you. Come on take a seat." He told me while waving me over to him and a seat.

I walked there and took the seat and started to introduce myself. "I am (Y/n) (L/n). Nice to meet you Mr. Davies" "I am Adam Davies. Adam is just fine. Glad to meet you"

"Now (Y/n) tell me. What would be your biggest dream?" Adam asked me quite directly "My biggest dream? I don't know why are you asking me this?" I inquired.

"Well everyone has one. But those dreams are always gonna be dreams. I learned that the hard way you know. Not even with a dream but with reality. A few years ago my biggest invention ever got stolen by my colleague before I could make a copy. It was a really special invention and it broke my heart that my colleague thought his own greed was more important than the needs of our boss and company. Of course we eventually found out who did it and he got fired but he never told us what he did with the invention. And he always insisted that it wasn't him but we had clear evidence so there was no point in lying to us. But the worst part was that it was who I thought to be my best friend" Adam said in a really melancholy voice.
